Thanks for the update! I'm glad they're finally out of his head; these kind of arcs always seem to drag on a bit too long.
I'm curious as to what Cadence's major malfunction is. It could be that she's just young and has lived a relatively charmed life (even accounting for the events that caused her ascension), but she displays a startling lack of empathy and care for the princess of love. Would love to see Celestia and Shining talk with her after things have settled a bit.

I found the first several chapters on a old harddrive from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in college in GT era. I did not know that the english dub airing on TV that I was familiar with had aged Bulla to be older than Pan, so sadly she has not been born yet for the timeline of this story.
... You know I found this amusing but also tiring as it went full drama all the time. In fact it didn't stop having continually escalating drama, including a now separate secret pregnancy & noble politics B plot.
Not saying any of this is bad but it's not slice of life if everyone is running 120% all the time with a trauma kicker.
When events transpire coincidental timing for maximum drama it needs drama tag.
I'm up-voting but I'm also leaving at this chapter since it's got tiring and I need my sanity points raised.

My apologies. The first saga is a very heavy plot and a bit of a lore dump. But it all has a point. Thing will get much more slice of lifey once the second saga starts, and the third saga will be pure slice of life. But that won’t be for a bit… check back next spring? Second saga should be starting by then, I hope. I’m writing multiple fics at once. I wasn’t expecting them to be hits across my accounts at the same time. I’m scrambling to keep up. But I promise this will live up to the tag, and I hope you return. 😓

Just caught up on the last few chapters; it's crazy how few reviews and comments you have when compared to how great your writing is. (it's especially absurd when I consider that some of the illiterate scrawls posted on this site have thousands of likes). I'm not a huge fan of making the Equestrian nobility so screwed up, but I love how the DBZ side of things is integrated and the introduction of the eastern nations. I'm looking forward to the next installment!

To be fair we are following the bad guys readying a coup with the help of a foreign country. And Regency, Victorian, and Edwardian nobility (1800-1914) were messed up by modern American peasantry standards anyway. Also Gilded Age America. I like history ^^ Remember this isn’t purely “the show”. This is Shenron’s version of the show made real with Earth’s history to fill in holes. There’s billions of off screen characters and whole continents and kingdoms he had to pull out of his butt. Japan (Nappon), Korea, three kingdoms China, Tibet, the Golden Horde (Mongols), India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, France, England, Italy, the Holy Roman Empire (Germany)… I think that’s every place I’ve mentioned in some form so far off the top of my head…
You all will never know how many days (yes days) I spent looking at maps, reading history, and looking up obscure horse breeds to get every conceivable pun available for this chapter…
