After the shattering, countless denizens of the old world fled from the Celestial sea to find refuge from the ice's many horrors. Reek was one of those refugees, and after days of slithering across mountains and through forests, he came across a small hut. Inside, he found a humble zebra who seemed to speak only in rhyme. It was so nice of her to welcome him with open hooves, and even nicer to allow him solace in her home.
This was perfect. She was perfect.
...The perfect host.

This is interesting, but i was expecting something more visceral/struggling from the premise
Well, maybe i'm just weird. Good read.

To be fair, we're only, what, 4 chapters in? Who knows what will happen, and especially if you consider the last few chapters of "In Reflection, The Same", I'd say it could get pretty visceral

Well, I'm not judging, just talking about my expectations.) There is plenty of time for the premise to unravel itself in all its grizzly glory. Rock on.
