Any fic with LGBTQIA+ content attracts a gaggle of sad malcontents in the rating and comments. Gotta wonder if they’re nesting in some group thread somewhere. They rarely leave any comments, so at least we don’t have to skip their babbling – it’s just the petulant downvotes.
It’s only ever the initial wave though; once they’ve had their little tantrum they (and their downvotes) peter out.

Yeah, but not dating within the ranks isn't just corpo BS. unless both people are insanely dedicated, one way or another romance or lack therof afterwards just hits performance. It's why I never date coworkers (I rule I, admitedly, might break, but hopefully not). He's got a really busy high ranking career going on, and thunderlane is a mid tier candidate that really needs to focus if he wants to pass the bar

Awesome story so far, I love the slow burn and the emotionalism atmosphere you are setting up despite leaving me a bit pent up that didn't really gotten humping each other proper yet, but I am sure they pay off later will make up for it more then enough.
