Lil' Cheese knows that Sugarcube Corner wasn't always run by Pound and Pumpkin Cake. They merely took over from their parents, who are now retired.
Eager for a chance to meet them, Lil' Cheese is delighted when his mom and dad announce that they're going to do just that: Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Cake at Silver Shoals.
Lil' Cheese is sure it'll be a glorious first meeting. After all, he's been told that the Cakes were a second family to his mother. So that makes them like family to him as well, right?

Hey there. Really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and general wrap-up in this one-shot as usual. Definitely liked Pinkie and Cheese taking their son to visit Cup and Carrot as well as memorizing the homes of everybody there. Of course, it makes sense that they would pick the same retirement community that Celestia and Luna did (if not the same retirement home). And, yes, it does make sense to release this after Mother's Day, but before Father's Day.
Aww this was a pretty nice story so it looks like Pinkie Pie and the family want to see mr. And mrs. Cake and it's been awhile she ever saw them and this is the first time lil cheese will get to meet them and once they made it they were still looking for them but it looks like they found them and it's really sweet to see this reunions and after they retired they said they let their children take over and lil cheese really like them it's always nice to see that and this was a pretty good one keep up the good work
Aw, so cute and well written! Nice to know that Luna and Celestia are his adoptive aunts as well! Cheesie must have washed his hooves as to not be so sticky, XD.
