Wow, now that's some broken O2 efficiency. If Ocellus can diffuse enough from this water to keep herself, and 2 other people from drowning on a surface area no bigger than her neck, then there's probably enough dissolved O2 in the water to sustain Galus and Smolder if they started breathing it in themselves.
Edit: Also, I don't think this is a fault. I actually prefer some kind of safety net when sexualizing dangerous situations like this one.

Maybe I'll do a bonus chapter, playing around with this idea a bit. I have to agree, would have been fun.
Hmm, this is becoming a really weird mystery. Energy draining auras? Strange stalkers? Constant libido? I can only hope that these 3 will have enough energy left for what's looking more and more like a very long swim, but I trust Ocellus to keep them alive, no matter how long they need to stay submerged.
i hope by the end of this one of two outcomes happen:
1) they get out but all the unprotected sex they have leads to both females pregnant with Gallus' foals. If they need an explanation on how three unique creatures bred and impregnated then blame it on the space they were trapped in made it possible
Or
2) they never get out and become feral but not dangerously so. Just feral enough that they are no longer thinking intelligently and running on instinct. The most primal instinct, which is breeding and creating offspring. Then have it end that they've been there so long that the females have given birth to numerous children from Gallus and are currently pregnant again while raising their most recent group of children

News to me, I just see everyone use it for when describing the Backrooms/Poolrooms.
Not exactly the ending I was expecting, but I am glad to see that this will be getting sequel spinoffs.

I can think of so many backroom scenarios for creatures and setting. Even before reading this, I had a list for specific types.
Endless cave with lava: for dragons
Endless halls and rooms from the friendship/crystal castles
Endless hive holes: changelings
Labyrinths seaquestria: hippogriffs.
Each one I even wrote situations for. Example
The dragons(whoever is trapped) are lost due to a new challenge by the Bloodstone Scepter. They must overcome lust, greed pride etc. In each way.
The castles: are sentient and trap princess or ponies to find them at their worst and best.
The hive: Before her exile, Chrysalis created massive illusions to confuse and corrupt changedlings and ponies to either get them back under her control or drive them out.
Seaquestria had something similar to changedlings but with the storm king instead

I had a non-MLP, non-sex dream otherwise a bit like this scenario, where a bunch of locker rooms around the world were linked by a teleport maze. A bunch of people banded together and we eventually escaped.

It was a nice alternative ending. Inam curious if they will gain the same sort of understanding with the pool rooms that Juicy has. That could be interesting to see, if only briefly.
On the one hand, their friends probably think they are dead, on the other hand they all seem to be happy and content in their current lives.
I am kinds surprised that Smolder's children don't seem to have any physical traits from Gallus. Ocellus I kinda get, since it is probably rooted in changedling shapeshifting or something.
Not quite what I was hoping for, but good enough.

While I can see some similarities to the pool known as "That Pool" with the slanted wall/ceiling, it is still a different pool, noticed by how the wall/ceiling of "That Pool" is fully comprised of windows.
Err, this was indeed fun, but I have a question: are your various Poolroom stories meant to be connected? I mean, if we know that Trixie Did It[tm] won't that take some of the mystery out of the stories i'ven't read yet?

Just the two Creatures Gone Liminal and Creatures Gone Liminal: Lost in the Pool Rooms. The other ones are just side stories.
Fun! Forgive me if instead of a "alternative ending where they never escaped", i pretend that this is after the epilogue and they escaped and then came back. And never escaped the second time. Why? Just seems like fun!
