_STELLAR

Stellar - She/Her

T

Applebuck always hated change. He hated it when his former colleague and BFF, Brandybuck, was repositioned to a different job, he hated it when his mother died, and he hated it when Velvet Remedy's music went silent on a very memorable day in Stable Two.

Alas, life is like a river: always changing. And Applebuck struggles to find happiness in the aftermath of the Steel Ranger's ruthless attack on his soon-to-be former home.

With his trademark stetson hat and a determined mind set, surely he can find his way?

(Please note that I have never written a full length story before, and that this story is partly me wanting to share my FoE concept, but also me practicing my writing and story building skills. If you came looking for a literary master piece, I'm afraid you're just gonna have to settle for my silly little pony-fic. Maybe you'll like it. maybe you won't. you'll just have to give it a chance, eh? That said, I'll put my heart and soul into this story because that's what I think it deserves damnit! Please enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!)

Japanese Object Spirits huh? Interesting. Perhaps Neigh-Poniese in this case :P

So AppleJack's Hat is one of Rarity's Soul Jar experiments? Is this where the Story Title comes from?

The 4th wall breaks still don't flow well with the rest of the story but other than that its going well. This would make a good Chapter 1.

The BOOP of Doom :O

Cant remember R7 being much of a "Town" at this point, really only a small outpost Gawdina used as a hub for her Talons, certainly not enough resources there to support a Stables worth of Ponies, even after a Steel Ranger attack. Will be interesting to see how this turns out.

So the Obvious thing will be for the "Bucks" and Mare to either get stuck outside by a closed stable door, or for one or more of them to get grabbed by something. Lets see where this goes.

Hmm, well done. Again the BOOP of Doom saves the Day, defying Expectations.

Time for a Fetch Quest in FetchWay :O
Gonna get some Hawt Zeeb Plot :D
Bring the Zeeb Plot back to Birb's Cyber Dongle o.o

So Bucky gots some new leggies. And a fancy cloak of no-see-um. And apparently has a Unicorn Horn but it growed INSIDE his head or something. O.o

Lot of spelling hiccups in this and the previous chapter. Could use some touch ups.

A fun first chapter—really enjoyed listening in on Applebuck's internal discussions, debates & "rationalizing." (Brought a smile to my face.) Makes for a good introduction for their take on the established setting/world.

I'm glad to hear it. ^ ^

Any specific feedback on the chapter?

Not really i dont have any experience writing anything but i am enjoying it

And so it ends, in mid story... It was a good read, as far as it went. :ajbemused:

Yeah, sorry to disappoint. I had a thing going here, but keeping a coherent story is very challenging, particularly with regards to the origins of Suki, which is essential for the rest of the story. I had most of the next chapter completed before I read it and realised it was incredibly convoluted. Essentially, it was just a massive memory orb info-dump chapter that didn't make much sense. It went into the origins of Suki, and how she was the result of an experiment by Rarity and her friend, Silver Eyes.

I'm sorry to say that, much as the description of the story states, this project was mostly a means of practicing my writing abilities, which I believe have improved in me writing this story that I enjoyed so much. Suffice it to say, no new chapters of the story will be released - don't hold your breath, anyway. But these characters exist in my mind, and perhaps you'd enjoy a (probably not) brief summary of where I planned the story to go?

(Never ended up writing one lol)

Well, as long as it improved your writing then it wasn't a total loss, lol. :pinkiehappy: And sure, I'd read a summary of the rest of the story if you have one handy.
