Why do I write? Because I can't draw! I write mainly as an outlet, and don't take it too seriously. If you like what I write, awesome! If not, that's cool too.

T

After stealing a powerful artifact from a rival mercenary group, an alien creature finds himself stranded on a primitive planet with even more primitive beings. As he searches for a way to rebuild his ship, he comes to find that perhaps not all creatures in the galaxy are criminals and wretched scum.

Oh this is so full of win

If this is a crossover with what I think it is, then let me just say:

Hell yes.

Reading later, college now (darnit!)

Interesting. You've definitely got me intrigued. Also, I find the use of Apple Bloom's siblings as units of measure strangely adorable. Definitely looking forward to more, especially if Falco encounters a griffon.

So. Much. Awesome! :raritystarry: :pinkiegasp: :rainbowdetermined2: But you missed the most important line, "Do a barrel roll!" :derpytongue2: :trollestia:

Well, can say I remember some of these characters! Definitely a nice Prologue and sets up the story well, in my opinion. Even though it's still somewhat unclear as to what's gonna happen and such and dunno if we'll be seeing shifts in matters, like in The Sky Is Falling or Dragon Tales. I almost thought Leon knew Falco had the artifact with him (forgot they were enemies, cause I recalled while reading that in Starfox 64, they did have occasional good guy addition that wasn't part of Fox's crew show up in the game to help out and such), even though wasn't (and still not) sure if he was part of Wolf's crew. Maybe I'll check it out later. :twilightblush:

Where it tapered off into Equestria was fun, with the Crusaders and their latest attempt into getting cutie marks. Have to lol @ proposition of Sweetie Belle knowing about radioactivity, even though doubt Equestria would have such materials. Not to mention, her idea of getting a second head. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Sweetie_Belle_lolface.png Well, can't wait to see where it goes from here and how Falco reacts (sure the summary is an indication), when he no doubt comes to next chapter! Count this as another story I'm tracking by you! :scootangel:

Why wasn't this the M/M? We totally could have had a Starfox/Big Mac ship!!!!!!

Aw, I wanted Fox to end up in Equestria! :applecry:

Oh, well! This is awesome, too!

As Captain Wolf O'Donnell(I dunno if he's a Captain I'm calling him that though) would say: No way! I don't Believe It!
Seriously. Star Fox meets MLP? Wow. Just Wow. Tracking just to see how it turns out.

Question! Where in the Starfox timeline does this take place?

three Applejacks wide

I don't think AJ is going to appreciate you using her as a measure of width. You know how dem women folk are about their weight issues.

This NEEDS to be continued

1885964 tell your friend he's in for quite the ride if he sticks with this story.

Just realized that I forgot to fave this. Humblest apologies, 'tis a great story, even without Bentgrass running around.

Fox is gonna be piiiiiiiissssssed. :pinkiehappy:
Since when do Arwings have a cloak of any kind though? :rainbowhuh:

2127311 I guess they don't in-game, but I took some liberties with a few elements.

This should be a fun story. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it.

CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS X-FILES AGENTS! YAAAY!

2277728 of course you will, you're my sci fi consultant!
Thanks again for being that, by the way.

Guh... I love Star Fox. I love ponies! I love this story!

:pinkiegasp:

I'm an egghead...

4927125 so am I, Jake. So am I.

IT LIVES! :raritystarry: Haven't seen you update anything in a while, even if I know you've maybe still been busy with your Army duties and relationship, etc. And I'm not checking feed messages as often as I used to or tracking/read everything you've written as of yet, at least that's STILL going on.

Re-read the first two chapters again, though I hadn't really read them before.. well, in their current state anyways. :twilightblush: Is Farnsworth named after the same one from Futurama? Though not the same as that one obviously, if not from the same story that Agent Bentgrass was borrowed from, but I doubt it (since you didn't say). Since that name just makes me think of him being named after that character (even if it's not very pony-ish). The first chapter was different in its execution I remember (since I did comment on that one way back then), but not sure how much, other than all of the members slipping away from Star Wolf in different directions during a fight. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Emoticons/shrug_Twilight_Sparkle.png

Anyway, as for my reaction to this chapter: DUN DUN DUN! :pinkiegasp:

Well, this chapter definitely seems to be putting the plot in mind, a war that the Equestrians aren't gonna be prepared to face... well, other than the Royal Guard and the Princesses, etc. Not sure which team the news report was referring to: Star Fox or Star Wolf? :unsuresweetie: Probably Star Wolf if I had to guess. And Falco's reaction to being found did seem a little extreme, when they weren't doing anything to him (even if he didn't know what they were capable of) but another story I read by a friend of the Star Fox variety did mention (if it was canon) Falco used to be a criminal, so maybe it wasn't too much of a stretch? Or at least, if he is used to fighting and being shot at.

Well, hopefully we have some kind of resolution coming up, where Twilight (or Celestia/Luna) can turn his language into one they can understand (without affecting his normally, with the later reuniting of him and Fox) or make him understand them without his translator, if not for the spare one he has. Or heal his arm, at least before his stasis suit runs out. Though I am not sure if it'll pick up right after the discovery, but probably so rather than taking him to the Princesses or locking him up for now, etc. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Emoticons/shrug_Twilight_Sparkle.png And hopefully, without being discovered/taken captive by Agent Bentgrass and his team, and without Apple Bloom and the others being questioned and blabbing. But they probably already have the ion drive he took (and lost :facehoof:), if not also his ship, despite being camouflaged.

Anyway, I hope this story continues more in the near future, I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes!

Always good to see more of this. Looks like third time's the charm for first contact. Now there's just the matter of all the forces arrayed against Falco to worry about...

Also, nice to see someone acknowledge the wondrous donuts of Horton VII.

Interesting to see this get updated, it's been a long time. In the time since I've read another Star Fox crossover which helped me get much more familiar with the characters.

Enthusiastic alien fan Twilight was fun.

I really love this story, but it has an almost full year break between each chapter...

Well, I had to reread the whole thing to get back into it, but this is definitely a good story. It's nice to see old school stories like this one rising from the grave, especially since the authors doing so seem to be keeping themselves largely free of the newer stupidity.

Here's hoping future updates come faster than this last one did. :raritywink:

Also, when I was rereading it, I noticed a tiny plot bug. Specifically the Arwing sort of does things on its own, especially activating its cloak, which feels odd because machines don't usually do that kind of thing. It would have worked better if you instead had Falco manually activate the stealth after he woke up, but since nothing else happened during that sequence of events it ultimately doesn't really matter.

see update in my fav folder

Upon entering the building, his initial assessment seemed correct. Inside, postponies went about their jobs sorting, processing and delivering mail to the citizens of Ponyville and beyond.

One seemed to have an eye on him, but her other was on an address label, so he dismissed it as an anomaly. For now.

In any case, great to see more of this. The pieces are in place. Now to see them collide.
