I have definitely enjoyed this story, the characters exploration and interactions has been wonderful. And this chapter was extremely cute regarding Discord and Fluttershy's dynamic, how they have different demeanor when being with their friends and when they are alone together.

This story is supercute and I liked it, but you really don’t need the sex tag. A little bit of making out and innuendo doesn’t really warrant it, and it might give people the wrong idea. I mean, I just wrote a Fluttercord story with a scene that clearly indicates they are going for it but the scene cut off before anything explicit happened, and I don’t think the story needed the sex tag. That is more of a warning tag for scenes where characters are very clearly doing it.
Still, a good story.

Why do I have a hunch Discord is disguising himself as all of her friends to prove a point?
I get the sneaking suspicion that Fluttershy might have misunderstood Rarity just a touch.

And so this chapter was a joy to read and it's always fun to see how everyone interprets Applejack. Sometimes they make her really wise and comforting, and she's able to stay calm while still being honest. Sometimes she says things truthfully but it comes out passionately when it comes to how she feels about her friends, so much that it's almost forceful.
You've got a bit a balance of both. I like it.

Big Mac was a surprise. I've seen many a fic where Big Mac did startle everyone by speaking up (and in canon episodes too!) but I really expected Spike to keep carrying on the conversation. It was great! And a nice connection to how AJ handled it with Fluttershy.
Awkward Discord awkwardly calling Spike and Big Mac "my boys" was something I didn't know I needed until now.
The ending was perfect. Discord just being dreamy and simply stating she asked him out, and not the other way around, only for the boys to be totally caught off-guard...

And what a nice little nudge with the spring flowers going with her eyes to reference an earlier chapter. You got all the tricks up your sleeve!

I just love the way you've portrayed Applejack and how she might respond to such a situation. As Tater mentioned, the role of friendships in a romance story is important, and sometimes, I think, overlooked. It's wonderful to see Fluttershy willing to talk through her feelings with a friend, and the way Applejack passionately shut down her insecurities was everything I wanted out of a conversation between these two.

The characterization is excellent, the advice and insights are all realistic and unforced, the pacing is perfect, the characters' plans went off without a hitch, and they got what they wanted in the end. Even though we all knew exactly where this story was going, you incorporated plenty of appropriate humor, exquisite details, and minor twists to make the inevitable all the more engaging. You have composed THE perfect storm of fluff and have left me feeling almost as giddy as I did those precious months when I was falling in love with my own romantic life partner.
