A tale as old as time. A boy wakes up in a far away land, surrounded by the screams of pain and terror, with no memory of who he is or where he came from. And all he has is a book, some friends, and a devil within.
“With this dagger, I shall set a rule upon your very soul, and unless you stab your own heart with the anti-magic sword, it shall remain in your heart for as long as you live." Or until he finds a way to make an anti-magic zone
“You pledge your life to this kingdom and become the princesses’ personal bodyguard.”
Being a bodyguard doesn't seem all that bad. Oh right...pony bodyguard. The most specist creatures on that world.
“Now for the rule I shall set upon you.” He cleared his throat. “With this magic dagger in your heart, you will never harm a princess who is true to Equestria, and come to the aid of any who calls upon you and your blade. Do you accept?”
Damn. I hope he finds a way to free himself of his forced slavery.
Sadly, the kids would have killed him. At the end of WW2 when the allies went into the concentration camps, some passed out food to the starving prisoners. It killed the prisoners, and I mean within the hour. They later realised that they couldnt feed more than a few tablespoons (or teaspoons) of food over long periods of time, until they could eat more regular portions. True story
This may be a good story, But Im stopping at chapter 1. I have a aversion to stories where someone is greatly and viciously wronged, and yet forgives and works with those who did it.
Again, this may be a good story, but I really cant stomach the concept of that.
