This story is a sequel to The Symbiote
Warning: The following description may contain spoilers for The Symbiote! If you have not yet read that and do not wish to be spoiled, please go no further.
After the events of The Symbiote, Twilight is no longer the only pony in Equestria to be host to one of the alien symbiotes captured by the Life Aura Center. Most of her friends have also agreed to host the aliens, understanding that they are unable to survive on their planet alone. This is a compilation of everyone's experiences with their respective partners! Chapters probably won't necessarily be in chronological order but I will include references to how long it's been since everyone became bonded. Most of these will take place shortly after The Symbiote and through the beginning parts of The Parasite.
Note, symbiotes will likely not have the exact same personalities and abilities as their Marvel comics counterparts! I draw largely from Sony's Venom movie along with information researched from the Marvel wiki, but otherwise my interpretations of the characters are my own. That being said I am more than happy to hear about what YOU like about each of these symbiotes and I may incorporate what I learn into future chapters. Oh and Rainbow and Pinkie's symbiotes, Slasher and Hysteria respectively, are my own OCs.
I will update with warnings and tags as I write. The rating on this may go up as well. We'll see.
Spike/Lasher - A Game of O&O contains mild fantasy violence and swearing.

Not in this, no. This should just be mostly wholesome one-shots with the ponies getting used to their new friends and getting up to shenanigans.
I say mostly because they ARE symbiotes so even though they're not supposed to, I'm sure there's gonna be some occasional pony munching. But no, no major character death in this.

I was thinking more like Riddick, where despite how deep his voice is he also talks so quietly you have to absolutely pay attention or you're gonna miss everything he says.

I just had a thought. Technically, Spike is still a child, and is still growing, since the molt is basically dragon puberty. So would hosting Lasher affect his development?

I think of Spike as being more of a teenager by this point but either way, I don't think Lasher will negatively affect him, no. Lasher is compatible with Spike's biology and is in fact one of the more careful and respectful symbiotes of the group. I can see him being very careful to not harm Spike in any way physically or mentally. He's simply, well. A symbiotic organism, almost comparable to the gut bacteria we all have that aids in digestion, except obviously Lasher is sapient and can talk and shapeshift. But don't worry, he's not going to affect anything about Spike's development except maybe making it easier for Spike to put on muscle and otherwise stay in shape. Lasher himself is aware his host isn't yet an adult so he's going to be mindful of what he says and does. I might touch on this more in future parts of this story because I actually hadn't really thought of it before. Thanks for the comment.

Tbh I haven't thought of many of the other voices. But I'm gonna say Hysteria sounds like Helena Bonham Carter, specifically the voice she uses for Bellatrix in the Harry Potter movies. That seems like the right amount of feminine and unhinged for that particular symbiote. I'm very open to suggestions for the other voices. I'm currently working on the Applejack and Phage story as a continuation from the first chapter so I hope to be able to think of a good voice for Phage soon.

Had to look her up too (I'm bad with names) but ah I see she plays Jessica in Rick and Morty and also voiced Vex in Skyrim, which is cool. I'm not as familiar with the animes she was in unfortunately but I like her voice. She could be a good candidate for Scorn, for sure. I'll have to think about it but honestly I could see her sounding pretty close to Celestia herself.

I did that so that I would add a funny side just like how Arthur scares Gary in the movie Joker by yelling after he killed randall and told him to go.
I also wanted to point out that I wanted to add the part where Twilight slaughtered the gut Buster's and their leader. I would imagine the Jurassic Park movie when Dennis Nedry encounter a dilophosaurus and she revealed her predator side when the frill is opened and shoots venomous spits at Dennis. And the part where Dennis retreated to his car, only to find the dilophosaurus is already inside waiting for him. The point is that I would compare twilight/venom to the dilophosaurus and how they would eat their food.
I got an idea for the voice of slasher: it would either be Robert Craighead (who did the voice of brok the dwarf from God of war PS4), rueben Langdon who played as Dante and the voice from devil may cry, or Adam Harrington the voice of Bigby wolf from the wolf among us.

I'm still deciding tbh, Slasher likely has a rather androgynous voice that falls somewhere in the range of high male to low female, where if you hear them speak you really couldn't place a gender to the voice. which is fine anyway because they tend to go by neutral pronouns (hence me using they/them) or just whatever pronouns their host uses. I haven't yet found a fitting actor for that.
As for Scorn, I imagine her having a calm, gentle voice almost like Celestia's. I just haven't thought of a good particular voice actor to match to her either. Someone else suggested Kari Wahlgren though.

do the Symbiotes halt the aging process causing them to be ageless? since what causes the body to age is daily damage over time like from the sun and over time the body getting weaker and not being able to repair, or replace the damage in one's body. so if they do the job of repairing and replacing all of the damaged or broken parts of the body better than their body could have originally. on paper, it should make them ageless. not immortal, since with enough damage and not enough time the symbiote won't be able to heal all of the damage.

I'm actually not sure, someone who's more familiar with the lore on symbiotes may have to tell me. If I were to just make something up though, I'd personally go with symbiotes greatly extending the lifespan of their hosts but the host will still die eventually. They can also be killed but that's also very difficult to pull off due to the healing factor. But I'm open to hearing opinions from those who are familiar with the comics, if this subject is even addressed.

I would also like to see what the rest of the hosts (rarity, applejack, pinkie pie, rainbow dash, fluttershy, and spike) reactions would be when they have their symbiotes suited up and look at themselves in their reflections, individually.
