I tried to mix it up as much as possible. I know some stuff is straight from Total Drama (like the Bulk Biceps cameo was a reference to both the testing flashback and Tyler diving into the buoy) but I still like to add a few new stuff. I hope you liked it though.

You really make me hate and love the characters here. But the one pony that I have conflicted feelings on is Spitfire. She sounds like she is the one who wants to control and lead the team, but would do almost anything to get it, kind of like how Heather was in the first season doing whatever she could to win no matter who she hurt, but in a more respectable way. I detect some awesome romantic advice is being sent to Cheese Sandwich, which will probably end up in some weird shenanigans. I think this story is absolutely fabulous

Honestly, with all the money that she cost McLean, I'd assume that Chris would just send Trixie home by default. Some ponies are just flat lucky.

Another good chapter. I knew that Trixie couldn't go home, that would be too easy. But I also am curious about her "next scheme", and just how badly (or perhaps goodly) she would mess up. We usually see Twilight be the last one to get a marshmallow, and that is Trixies doing, but I could be completely wrong, and for all I know, the next chapter is about a peace circle with everypony having to be nice to each other (which in itself might actually be hilarious)
I'm probably in the minority here, but I kinda want to see Twilight knocked down a few pegs. I mean, yeah, Trixie is pretty egotistical in this story, and not very helpful, but Twilight is just being vindictive at this point.

Honestly I tried to make some of the ponies stand out more, and that’s what I’m doing with Twilight.
Yeah, that's probably going to blow up in Trixie's face. If I was in her position, I'd go for a double bluff by getting Cheese and Pinkie together, then subtly making sure everyone catches on. In the very high (in this story) likelyhood that Twilight gets suspicious, she'd end up damaging her own credibility. If not, then at the very least I'd have secured one ally.

I got the next chapter planned out, and I’ll start typing it in the next couple days. If I stick to my schedule it should be out soon.

Gotta say I like the chapter, despite having just one nitpick, and that is the "plan" for Trixie to use on Cheese Sandwich. It really is just a personal thing I have, but I don't like how it seems as if the characters just lost brain cells and listen to whatever they are told by someone that would definitely lie to them, despite the description not sounding anything like how they usually would. I don't expect that to change my views on much, it's just a small thing really. I'm sure I will be proven wrong, as I usually am, but I'm not saying I hate the chapter, because really the whole thing can be saved by this:

I know that it seems slightly forced, but Cheese seems like a pony who could be fooled slightly easier. If it were Twilight or Applejack then it would be harder. Trixie also seems like a pony that would be good at mind tricks (no pun intended) so I thought I’d try playing around with that side of her a bit as she tries to get a huge target off her back. Also I thought it was a great place to put a reference so I’m glad you liked. More chapters to come!

You have a good point, and going back over it I do see Cheese as the lovestruck stallion that would want to believe anything he was told about the mare he loves, I guess that really is just a drama induced plan that I have seen so many use and fail, but I don't think this is like that. But you really give good "bad vibes" from Trixie here. It makes me actually wonder (and regretfully kind of want) if she could win using her skills of life and manipulation, while also getting a good karma treatment.

) I do think that I picked the right pony for her to target. My biggest concern is her motives, because I’ve seen so many fanfic writers fail to give characters good reasons for what they do. I hope I did ok in that department. And I’ve also seen failed dramatic effects, more in the Sonic fandom, but it’s present here too, so I hope I did it at least a little bit right.

I think the motive part is good, the competition here gives us a good reason to understand why Trixie is doing this. It cannot be forgotten that this is before the show reforms Trixie by being Starlights friend so she still has a huge grudge on Twilight, making her decisions at least somewhat understandable.
