There’s crying coming from down the hall; I’d felt the sound bounce along my spine long before my ears fully registered it. When this all began, I didn’t comprehend what a ‘mother’s intuition’ entailed, despite what the words written within my dog-eared parenting books said. But oh, how I understand now—these past few weeks have been quite the learning experience.

You can move the author's note box to the top if that's where you want your warnings instead of in the description. It's kind of pointless to have them at the bottle.

Thank you for the submission! I'm looking forward to reading it.

I was worried people would spoil themselves when they didn't mean to, but I'll move the notes to the top then ^^

Most likely not. Anyway, this was an idea I don’t think I’ve ever seen done before and it was thoroughly creepy.

You know strictly going by the synopsis and title, I'm surprised this isn't a Rich family story.

in most situations, finding out Cadence is in that basement would be the lesser reveal but Jesus. I had to reread, for some reason, to get that "sweet Jesus she mutilated a baby" trigger to go off.

God, that was horrifying 😱 Great work!

Holy shit. :O

I caught on early that the baby was an alicorn, but I thought the narrator was delusional and she had to be an adult. The purple hair made me think it was Twilight.

Oh dang! This story dose not get love :/

although I am thinking of that one donkey from the murder express? Guess it dosnt mater who so much, but you made it seem more likely to be Bon Bon for the longest time

What an underrated haunting story. Amazing stuff! ~

the baby isn't dead...right?
