As for jwil, there might be a sequel. Two, in fact, like I originally planned in this story's first conception. (Fun fact, this story was made to add weight to the story I originally wanted to write, as sort of a prequel to set the tone/world.) The first sequel is gunna be a bit of drama/slice-of-life, while the second will be back to good ole' adventuring. But that's a ways away, I think.
