Believe it or not faithful readers, The Patchwork Girl may not have appeared in the original 'Wizard of Oz' movie but it was one of the four Baum works turned into movies by the Oz Film Manufacturing Company in 1914 and 1915. So the fact that we decided to reintroduce The Patchwork Girl as a scene in which we see the team in a rather 'extended' stay in Emerald City was a creative decision we decided to work with. That we were thinking some fans would ask if there could be another way back to Kansas besides the Wizard himself? Plus, we all know there were those stories in which The Scarecrow and Patchworks have kind of a thing going on even though the shippers would argue Scarecrow should be with Dorothy. But I guarantee this will be a fun segment for the start of this series loaded with surprises.

I wanted to introduce her to let people know that oz isn't just limited to just to the movie but introducing them to the books themselves

And I would say it's both a creative and smart way to do so. For the most part, when people think 'Wizard of Oz' they instantly think of the original movie. But by introducing essential elements from the books, we're educating these readers while attempting to make it fun at the same time.

Well, well, this is new. Good work.

Well, a clever concept for a story within a story no doubt. I really hope this turns out good!

It is during this final chapter of this 'two part' saga where we soon realize that everything's too good to be true. Not only is it slowly revealed that Mr. Woozy is a fraud and a con artist, but we also realize that he shares a shocking alliance with a character who was killed off early during the original movie. We see how he came to be, how his own inventions backfired and caused everyone to turn on him for the harm he felt no remorse for, and now believes this union will help to spread misery throughout Oz just as they made them miserable (Come to think of it, that makes it sound 'familiar' in our current situation). Still, banding together, our heroes were not only able to defeat one of his creations that was out to kill them but they also expose Mr. Woozy for the fraud that he is and with just enough evidence to support their claims to the authorities.

But if anything, this chapter was more than just the Mane Six and their friends solving a conspiracy, this was more of an opportunity to give a spotlight moment for Patchwork Girl. We see she's more than just some sweet raggedy girl to serve as a love interest for Scarecrow. We see that she is a woman with dreams and aspirations, who's appropriately crushed when she learns the truth about her master, and seeing her friends put in danger because of him she does whatever she can to help. With the threat put out like a flame, hopefully things do work out for the Patchwork lassie. Not only to aspire with her dreams to become a true help to the people of Oz but it seems she and Scarecrow have quite a thing going on (Can't say fans of the Dorothy/Scarecrow ship will be pleased).

In any case, this was a wonderful start to this spin-off series and I'm curious to see what happens next.

Yeah I wanted to give the wicked witch of the East some what of a character because... Really she didn't really have that much to do part from you know being dead

10157039
Compared to all the other forms of media that explains a bit about the Wicked Witch of the East ('Wicked', 'Oz: The Great and Powerful', even 'Lion of Oz' featuring the late Dom Deluise) in this movie we really don't know 'anything' about the East Witch. We only know that she was the Wicked Witch of the West's late sister, though to what extent of their relationship is unknown, and her death was meant to serve as a motivation to make Dorothy, an innocent farm girl, out to be an enemy (Also because she was granted her sister's shoes instead of her own family).

Originally the nuisance eater was going to chased the others to the boiler room where it would have caused an explosion but I thought it was overkill so I just stuck with the hole giant eating plant monster chasing them

10161738
Yeah... That might overdo it a tad. I'm actually glad you decided to tone it down a bit.

How did you come up with the idea of the Nuisance Eater anyway?

10161821
Well basically it came to me when I thought about little shop of horrors with the whole killer plant concept along with the Piranha Plant from super Mario and also i thought a coconut for a head would fit sense you know oz is kinda odd

10161832
Hmm... So you made up your own monster that fit the setting of Oz.

Okay, I'll believe that.

I would like to say thanks to extremeenigma02 for making this cover for the deleted scenes again thanks

Wow... Now that's nicely done. Can't believe I only just noticed this.

Oh yeah, this is nice. Love how you did the mystery solving. Oooooh.

If fans had ever wondered what Twilight and her friends were doing while investigating why all those college students were acting weird, this added mystery certainly did the trick. While mainly focusing on Scooby and Twilight, particularly when her niece wandered off and she found herself having to face an old phobia, we got to see these two bond over a scary situation such as dealing with a monster. Only, it turned out not to be a deranged criminal in a mask, but seemingly a malfunctioned animatronic that went wrong. It was probably the scariest thing Twilight had to go through, but she knew she had to be brave because saving Flurry Heart was more important to her than letting a phobia get the best of her.

There were some laughs, there were some scares, and in some way it connects to the story that came before. But what else I can say about that is simple:

I liked this.

Keep going!
The story is getting better!
I am looking for the next Adventure of Scooby-Doo, with Flurry!

If you were curious The Patchwork Girl voice is Jennifer Hale Cinderella voice

10238661
I'd say she's a pretty good choice to be the Patchwork Girl. And there have been plenty of actresses who voiced her in some cartoons.

10239706
I probably thought Mondevarious had tried to make his own army before finding the monsters

10251564
I'm sure he probably was going for that, until it was going rather wrong.

i love furry heart said scooby dooby doo.

For Mr woozy i had Danny Goldman brainy Smurf voice

10255981
Makes perfect sense to me. Sounds pretty obnoxious enough for Woozy.

If we've ever wanted a means to determine how we decided to interpret Willy Wonka's rise as a chocolatier, we decided to take a different approach. For one thing, we decided that his father had died sometime during his upbringing (But we do mention he was a famous dentist). We also decided to include his mother and the start of his rise stemmed from the fact that his world was miserable in some degree. For one thing, either due to some depression where many things were made cheaply, he notices certain elements could lead to more harm than good and he gets a pie in the face for speaking his thoughts. But this young man was destined to dream big if his book of sketches are of any consideration. The world may not be ready to hear his ideas at this point, but so long as that dream still draws him to make him a reality... Even the reality he wants becomes a dream.

And who would imagine those few simple phrases were inspired by what he heard from his mother? Who I am to guess probably passed away while he was still rising to the top and possibly why he wanted a child to run his factory. If not just to have an heir to run the business, it could be because even with all his oompa loompas and locking people out for fear they'll steal his recipes... He gets rather lonely. Perhaps having Charlie around in a way makes him feel like a father figure and that Charlie in turn is the son he never had. At least that's my interpretation of things.

For the teacher i have Tim curry Maestro Forte from the enchanted Christmas for a cameo

And for Willy's mom i have Julia Brown who plays queen arianna aka Rapunzel's mom from tangled the series (0:40)

I don't know, Tom Holland? When you look at his face, he almost looks like he can pass of as a Young Gene Wilder.
