Now, I know it’s been a while but that’s what happens when you have too much on your plate

I made myself too many projects and have not that much time for them, so I got rid of the ones I’m not that invested in but it still leaves me with a handful. Unfortunately that means that my story is currently on the back burner, simmering slowly

I’ll try to check on it as often as I can, mostly because I’m actually enjoying writing stuff. Reason as to why one of my projects that survived my purge is writing my own story, fanfics are basically practise

In another note, the chapter I was working on before this filler? Well, I’ve decided to rewrite it entirely, it wasn’t flowing right and too many things felt forced or out of place. So that’s another thing that is going to slowdown this a little bit

I’ll still save what I have just in case, but I will do my best to make it a better story. And if the rewrite works, I might use what I have now as the basis for another, later chapter

Now onto the chapter

==[POV - Luis]==
I woke up that morning feeling... odd. Not in a bad way, but not good either. Just odd

Anyways, I couldn't think about that now. Too much to do, too little time

First thing I noticed, appart from my odd feeling, was Noctis not in bed and the smell of bacon in the air. Jumping from bed and getting dressed with a click I thought to myself, Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all

My outfit today, which I wasn't planning on changing since we start the mission later today, was my armour's chest piece over a shirt with some ballistic weave in it plus jeans with no ballistic weave, since I didn't have enough ballistic fiber, and my armour's shin guards to compensate, as well as an honest to goodness dark brown trench coat over my leather jacket. Hey! Trench coats are awesome. On my thighs, I just have a holster for Amor and pouches, and in my hip, my sword Achilles. Turning visibility for both weapons off. El Patriota was also invisible already equipped on my back, since I left it like that last night. Maybe that's why I feel odd... meh

Bacon pancakes are always, without a doubt, delicious, and with videogame powers, useful. Red: "Okay, Nimble, ready for school today? Just two weeks before winter bre-eak," she sang the last sentence, then, after getting a nod from Nimble, she turned to me, "Be careful, okay? I probably won't see you for more than a few days"

"When am I not careful?" She raised an eyebrow, "Don't answer that"

"While the assembler finishes with the car, we have about an hour and a half to spare, so let me show you a neat trick, courtasy of your new powers," I said as I opened the door for the brothers

"You know... I never thought I'd be intrigued being dragged into the spa," said Thunder

"If this powers made mudane things actually useful... I'll be damned"

I turned to the brothers, still walking backwards to the main desk, "Have you guys ever heard of buffs?" I turned to the desk and rang the bell

Alloe basically matterilized behind the desk, "Oh Prince! Good to have you back. Same as always?"

"Not this time Alloe, instead could you get me and my companions here the 'muscle relax delux package' please?" We need the damage resistance more than the EXP boost

"Of course, of course, Prince. That will be 129 bits," one exchange and 129 bits later, "It will be 5 minutes of wait time, thank you for your concurrent patronage"

I could feel the stares of the twin warriors as I took a seat, "Video game logic is quite the contradicting... thing. I was trying to sound wise, damn it"

"So..." Lightning sat next to me, "You come here way too often from the sounds of it"

"I hope this isn't something that will make me hand in my proper stallion card," Thunder joked, leaning of the wall

"Trust me, 15% damage resistance is no joke"

"Nice of you to show up," I said to Rick, giving him a freindly slap on the back

He wiped some ice of his shoulder, "I fucking dialed CLOUDSDALE!!" he finished with a shudder, "Why didn't you program the IDs to be really different from one another?!"

I gave him a stupid smile, "Well... I needed science 4 and intelligence of 10 to reprogram the gates... Or, science of 1, idiot savant 1 and 10 luck," I put my hand on his shoulder as I walked past him, "Take a guess which one I used"

"I guess? He answered, “But I’d prefer not reaching halfway to terminal velocity before realizing ‘Hey… This isn’t Ponyville’”

I put the PIN on the new door to open it, “Well… I could probably enchant the gates to cast the cloud walking spell on anything that goes through it,” I opened the door and said, “Hey guys! Look who decided to drop by?” Giving a mischievous smile to Rick

"Hey, Rick!" Thunder said from the couch, taking another sip from some nice herbal tea, I need to thank Rarity for that, he looked at me, "I still don't know what 'RAD Resistance' is, but if helps against magic, I'll take it"

I sat down next to him, “Let give you-“ I pointed at both brothers, “-both of you a little lesson in these resistances. First you have your physical damage resistance, self explanatory, right? The higher that is, the less punches and even swords hurt. Energy damage resistance protects you against fire, ice, and the like. Elemental damage if you will. I’ve noticed it even helps with feeling the weather less too. And finally, rad resistance, that’s your defence against radiation, which seems to activate with magic. You guys are already immune to it, but with some experimenting, I discovered that rad resistance helps with the effects of magic too. If someone tries to levitate you, you’d feel heavier with a higher value”

“So if we somehow managed to get our rad resistance high enough, we’d be effectively immune to magic?” Asked Lightning

I couldn’t help but chuckle, “Not exactly,” I said taking another sip from my tea, Who would’ve thought there was tea this good in Ponyville?, “You still have to worry about the other effects of the spell that hits you. Remember, even magic has friction, so even if your armour can block the magic, it doesn’t mean it can block the hit that comes from it. Trust me, aunt Luna hit me with a very powerful spell while I was testing this. I flew hard,” I finished my tea
