Can't say I blame you.
Not horrible, but not great -- it's just, for lack of anything better to say, boring. It's cliche, it makes mention of how it's cliche, and that seems to be about it. It seems like an interesting idea at the core, but for now, there's nothing compelling me to read more than the first half-a-dozen paragraphs.
