I pictured Luna helping out, but causing a magical mishap do to being horribly out of practice creating a giant tree monster. Meanwhile Twilight and Spike are at that pond near Ponyville, and Twilight just so happened to be reading a book on the best way to deal with a giant monster is with another. So she had Spike volunteer and blasts him with the magic to turn him back into giant monster form, with the force of the magic knocking him into the pond. Then Spikezilla rises from the depths of the pond, and proceeds to fight the giant tree monster in the middle of Ponyville. Then the scene cuts to the castle with Celestia watching this on the news channel with a bag of popcorn.

My imagination sometimes can get the best of me.
