My only worry is that Dash will become insufferable. With Soaren's flying skills broken, Dash will be able to easily out fly him and shove it in his face. And I can't stand that Dash, I hope yours doesn't become that. It's always a danger with her because she becomes too strong and has none of modesty Twilight does. Probably why she is my least favorite of the mane6.

its pretty amusing too, but one thing thats kinda way off is........this is Soarin of the wonderbolts and was one for celestia know how many years. he would of amassed quite the fortune for being there co captain not to mention all the contracts and trademarks he would own.......... also being a higher ranked military would also pay out quite nice not to mention the one hellofa big pension he'd be getting now....... so he'd never have to ''find'' a job as he's rich..... also due to his fame and his skills if he wanted a job he could ''get'' anything he wanted due to who he is.

True, it likely that Soarin would receive a fairly good pension so a job might be unnecessary, but I would like to think that Soarin being Soarin, he would try to do something productive with his life rather than sit on his arse all day. Also as Soarin is only a Commander, his pay grade (based on modern military standards and my assumed time of service) wouldn't be amazingly fantastic.

Lastly being a military squadron, I think the Wonderbolts wouldn't be inclined inclined to accept trademarks and stuff as they're funded by the military, still a good point I didn't even consider.

I edited my comment with the movie titles. I know this because I recognized the actor/tress and thought it was weird that they BOTH did a movie with that "friends with benefits" plot in the same year. Especially since in the show their characters were a couple for a good while in it. Though Ashton's movie was tamer if I recall correctly.

Honestly, I am frustrated with a lot of the cheap references that you use for 'laughs'.  I skipped over the part with Doc/Doctor because I was bored; references to Dr. Whooves are highly stale, in my opinion.  The Star Wars stuff during the movie was, while at least relevant (and I use that word in a loose sense), I thought it was pretty over the top, along with the George Lucas stuff.

I think you can do better than this.  The first two chapters were evidence of that.

Modesty. Thank Odin that isn't an Element of Harmony. I wanna find the guy that came up with the ridiculously-popular "modest hero" archetype and run him over with a semi. Modest heroes are so BORING!

So freaking boring. The best hero is one who knows they're a hero and uses that fact to their advantage--it's so much more interesting! A character who helped save the freaking world should be due some kowtowing, and it's only natural to use that celebrity clout to help you achieve your dreams. And sure it's cool when the hero tries to avoid the spotlight--maybe their dreams are already realized and they don't want anything else. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just that it's so overdone! A truly great hero saves the world and then goes on to chase their dreams and maybe leave the world they saved an increasingly better place in the long run. When you finish your quest and go "I'm done" and settle down, you're squandering so much potential for good!  

Please space out your paragraphs. I'm begging you. As-is this is a giant wall of text. It could be worse, sure, but it could be so much better, too.
