I always like the story to end with the foal being born and since I was one day off, I thought this was due that night at midnight the day I finished and published it, so I rushed to finish it and submit it without much proofreading even. I touched the whole thing up more after publishing so I could hit the (day-early) deadline. Plus that scene where Rares figured out she was preggers was in a picture I linked in the description as my inspiration, so kinda wanted to include that scene.
I may (probably will) flesh out the ending out more at a later date, but meh. I have three commissions in progress right now that I've been neglecting that I need to finish first.
