I'm about to have negative time, especially since I'm 136k words deep into a 300-400k word project (and Battle for Azeroth is coming out in 2 weeks, and university resumes in September). BUT. Once I finally get into them, they're a lot of fun. But ho boy, are they draining.
I have to admit, I wasnt expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. The sex was hot, as were the descriptions of the characters, even if they were a bit more larger than life than I'd normally enjoy. The character development was good too, it actually made the sex worth it. And the meal description made me hungry!
My only personal disappointments are that with all that glorious boob there was no milk, and that nopony got it in the butt, and that Celestia wasn't a futa too. Nonetheless, still enjoyed it!

Out of curiosity, what prompted the lessened expectations compared to your reaction? Was it how I branded the story (description/tags), or did you just not expect the content to be your thing, but were pleasantly surprised? I'm asking because I'm wondering if I made a mistake when I wrote the descriptions and whatnot.
That's the most important part. When you're talking about largeness, you're talking about their stature, or their proportions? I might've gone a bit far (I'm personally not into macro at all), but my intention was to account for them just being much larger than average. For instance, in the series, Celestia dwarfs everypony else, so I figured she'd be close to 8 feet tall if she were humanoid. Maybe 7-ish feet would've been more realistic, with Luna at around 6'6" and Twilight at just over 6 feet?
That's one reaction I was hoping for when I wrote all the pre-sex stuff. I'm striving to have a lot of vivid detail in my main project, so I kind of wrote all this stuff out of habit. I especially like that you got hungry from the meal description, since it's (mostly) just food meant for horses. Making food they'd eat sound appetizing to humans was a fun challenge.
I'm glad you liked it in spite of that. The first two aren't really my things, which is why I didn't write them (which is the same reason I'll never write futa on male). I guess I'm kind of selfish when it comes to writing sex stuff. Celestia not being a futa is more of a byproduct of my convoluted anthro headcanon, which all of my anthro stories follow. I basically have a mental list of sizes/proportions for most of the characters, and whether or not they're futa, and I always refer to that when I write an anthro fic.

It sounds slightly odd almost to say, but because the sexual assets of the characters were so emphasized in the description, I was almost expecting (not meaning to sound demeaning or insulting by any means) a lower standard of story-craft and language than I received.
I'm no expert myself (I mean, look at my profile; I have no stories submitted as yet!) but I come from a background of having studied writing, and it's rare to find a combination of - please excuse painting with a broad brush - fetish-ey clop + good spelling/grammar/language use (I could, if I wished to be crude, use the phrase 'one handed/hoofed typing...). I was pleasantly and thoroughly pleased to find your work not being the case in that regard.
Regarding the second point, their stature I had no problems with; I'll make it no secret that I find the idea of a potential partner or object of desire/lust being taller than me exhilarating, and 6+ foot tall women/herms/futas/whatever you like is absolutely fine with me. I was referring more to their proportions and their pulchritude. Mark my words, it's certainly no bad thing; I very much enjoyed the mental picture they evoked, just more 'generous' than I am accustomed to. And hey, fantasy is wonderful. Picturing someone in reality with those dimensions is far less alluring when you think of the real-life problems it would accrue, as opposed to the thrills and excitement that magic and fantasy give us.
I also agree with your thoughts that as alicorns, Twi, Celestia, et al should and would have more physically defined and 'superior' physiques, as creatures of more powerful and raw magics flowing through them.
The fact that you say that you wrote the descriptive stuff out of habit is a fantastic thing; it's great to hear that, as it means your writing comes naturally, and that setting the scene is as important as the 'payoff' of the clop scenes. Plus that same description of taste, smell, colour and texture is as sensual with the food as it is with the later parts of Twiggles and Celly coupling, and makes a nice comparison. The same with things like the description of Princess Snowglobes dress as well, it really helps bring the senses into focus, and adds to Twi's perspective and how much the act is important to her, as well as adding another dimension to the eroticism of it.
And, finally, as I said; It's all personal perspective. I'm not going to downvote or condemn anyone for not putting my own quirks or kinks in their own stories, especially when otherwise written so well, and so fun and/or exciting. Writing what you enjoy will always lead to a better end result, but thank you for at least replying and acknowledging my remarks, and also for not kink-shaming!
Please keep writing more - I like that you're actually laying out a universe/setting with each story, and despite the clop-factor being the main part, it's good to see there's some more thought behind it. Also, I appreciate you taking the time to reply to me personally, and discuss things :)

I love seeing comments like this because it's exactly what I was trying to achieve. I'm sure all writers go through this, but when I write certain parts of a story, I'm hoping for specific reactions.
That's kind of my philosophy when writing these things. I only write the stuff I enjoy, since I know I'll be putting more into it. Since I don't really like futa on male, I won't be able to write it as well without struggling through it. And kink-shaming when it comes to clopfics is kind of... yeah. One guy swore at me in the comments for Hurricane Futashy for writing futa (it was my first anthro story), and then I checked his favourites list only to discover multiple rape fics in there. Yeah. People like what they like, and glass houses and all that. That's why I try to accurately tag kinks in spoilers in the description, so people know whether or not they want to read my fic before potentially wasting their time with it.
These are spur of the moment fics, usually, so I can't say when the next moment will come. At least I have 3 other stories in this setting, so there's that!
