I don't get it... Is something missing from warnings? This is two stories now where someone thinks M/M means Mare/Mare
I haven't read the story so I could be wrong.

So, why is this in the human x anthro group when it's just 2 anthro ponies with no humans involved?

What kind of fetish are we talking about here?

The tags are on there to cover my back in the event someone complains and tries to report the story. I'm just trying to be on the safe side of things.

8931775
Because when I was looking for a folder to put it in, that one seemed like the spot to do so. If it's not then I'll remove it.

8931777
Domination is the fetish they talk about during the story, but this is a cuddle fic and I thought some readers would enjoy it. If it's in the wrong folder, let me know and I'll remove it.

8931779
I understand, but you do know that M/M stands for Male/Male correct?
Cause that puts this story in an incorrect folder.

Sorry for being difficult.

8931820
Oh I thought it was mare/mare. I am sorry about that, which group is that in so I can go fix that.

I am distinctly concerned by Twi and Fluttershy's apparent lack of knowledge of safe word protocols. :twilightoops:

Well if you look up the word Twilight gave Rainbow, it is actually pineapple, I used the scientific name as a joke knowing someone would pick up on it. But yes Fluttershy can be a bit shocking when she wants to be, as we've all seen in the show so far, it's always the quiet ones isn't it.

8931746
Isn't that what M/M means?

This was fun, kind of disappointed it’s only one chapter though. Having more chapters usually means a bit more to the story.

8932726
I would have assumed so as I linked it to being mare/mare, and male variant would have been s/s or stalliin/stallion. But I should have also asked first to better clarify it.

8932815
Well this was intended to be just as is, a possible second could show up. In which case I'll mark it as a sequel.

M/M usually means Male/Male pairing, also known as “yaoi” in the modern vernacular, and F/F usually means a Female/Female pairing, also known as “yuri” in the modern lexicon.

M/M usually means Male/Male, and F/F usually means Female/Female. Also these pairings have names, for the male/male pairing you call it a “yaoi” pairing and for the female/female you call it a “yuri” pairing. If you need to learn the nuances of both words you can look them up.

Which I understand, my confusion came from the fact we are on a site focused around MLP. So I had assumed that the terminology was altered to fit the site. If you will tell me the name of the group I made this mistake in, I will change it when I get home later today.

8933186
I get wanting to change expressions to fit with the fanbase, that’s fine. It just adds to the growing lexicon used by community to express things.

8933277
That it does, but I should have also asked about the set up for the folders in the group.

8932358
Yeeeeeah.

M'kay.

See, here's the thing.

Twi and Fluttershy sound like two dommes I'd have booted out of my club, if I had one. If not booted out, then *certainly* be warning others to keep an eye on and trying to teach them that safewords mean something.

What Twi did was take Rainbow's safeword - something that's supposed to be quick, easy to remember, and easily recognizable, and transform it into something that failed each rule for Rainbow, the one who has to remember it *best*. It's two words, in a language Rainbow doesn't even know, and there's a distinct blurring between "Ah, nono!" which can be a good sound and "Ananas," the first word of the safeword. She turned Rainbow's safeword into a joke, one that she knew Rainbow would have difficulty using if she did go too far. Sure, maybe Twi would have accepted anything remotely similar, or have listened if Rainbow did say pineapple, but she basically told Rainbow that she didn't give half a shit about her safeword - which Rainbow, and the other mares watching them play, took as the lesson, that Rainbow basically didn't have a way to stop Twilight once she started.

What Fluttershy did, that would be kicked out, barred for at least a year, and spreading the word so that everybody else in the community knew about it!

Basically, she didn't give Applejack a safeword at all. Sure, AJ has one, but she can never use it, and it sounds an awful lot like there's no non-verbal backup! When a sub is prevented from using their safeword, there should always be a usable backup; stomping a foot three times, ringing a bell, something they can do to tell the dom/me when things stop being fun.

Why AJ tolerates that sort of thing is mind boggling, and suggests that she legitimately doesn't realize the risks - at best. At worst, whether she understands the risks or not, she's scared to tell Fluttershy not to do that. Fluttershy is setting up a scenario where AJ could want to stop, desperately want to stop, potentially be dying, and AJ wouldn't be able to do anything to tell her. She's begging for a tragedy to happen with a pony she, at least supposedly, has feelings for!

While Twilight sent the message that she wasn't taking a safeword seriously, Fluttershy is just flat out saying she doesn't give a shit if AJ uses one or not, she's going to keep on going, and just doesn't want anypony else to know.

At this point in the story, yeah, things have worked out. Celestia only knows how, since apparently Twi branded Rainbow and Fluttershy pushes things to levels of cruelty (RD and AJ's words, not mine) that push AJ's limits to the utmost.

One of these times, barring plot armor, they wouldn't work out, and somepony will be hurt, badly, perhaps irreparably.

(Brands, incidentally, usually take a REALLY freakin' long time to heal; they're usually considered pretty permanent body mods, though I'll just assume magic was involved in fixing that.)

Safeword protocol matters. It's the line between sexy fun times where everybody's enjoying themselves and serious physical and/or psychological injury.

While you are right about all of that, the idea of Rainbow's safe word being it's scientific term is the joke. Because Twilight will still accept the standard, it was just a small play on the words used. And the way I have Rainbow talking about what Fluttershy and AJ get into, is to hint at the fact that AJ being the strong working type is more than okay with the gag.

As we've seen in the show she is willing to take on extra work, and over extend herself for no reason what so ever. I took that and applied it to the idea that she would be the type to accept the gag regardless, thus making the experience she has all the more enjoyable for both of them. I fully understand that between a couple in this situation, trust is a massive factor that can't be taken out or ignored no matter who the individuals are.

This story was just having a bit of fun with the idea of one dominatrix having fun in her own way with words, while the other is hinted at being much more cruel than most would expect while her submissive partner is fully okay with it. Simply because she enjoys the feeling all around. I'm not disagreeing with you in any way, I fully agree with you on the matter.

As for the branding part, that was a reference to a show that I'm hoping to see someone catch and point out. I'll tell you in private.
