Sunset and Twilight had been friends for months and even visited Equestria together earlier in the year. They just hadn’t gone on an official date as just them. Which is understandable, given the whole acclimation phase and the fact that it’s jusr so much fun hanging out with their friends.
But with the Fall Formal coming up, Sunset figures it’ll be the perfect chance.

Tudors, the plural. It’s a funny upscale pub based off a restaurant of the same name near me designed to look like a circa 1500 tap house with some strangely out of place modern tables. Foods good, thought.

As for writing a story just for a joke/pun, well, I refer you the book Doomsday Exam by Nick Polatta, the middle book of the Bureau 13 trilogy. The entire several hundred page book is just for the very last sentence. And yes, it's a god-awful pun.
