Three weeks after being forced into a sinister game of revenge, arranged by Queen Chrysalis, Twilight returns to confront Chrysalis one last time, only to learn that her along with her friends were not the first round of victims.
The game was never over.
Before anybody asks, yes, this is very heavily inspired by the "Saw" movie franchise. I just felt that the original story needed more of a story, so here's my attempt at adding more to the story. This takes place after the events of season 6!

I don't think there is any such spell strong enough to bring a pony back to life. There may be in the areas of dark magic, but that would just cause complete havoc and have the same effect as the Pet Sematary lol

The spell was sucked back through the time portal when Starlight returned to the present in "The Cutie Remark pt 2," so it isn't usable for that reason, and Twilight didn't analyze the spell enough to make another copy of it. Only pony that could do that, is dead already.

Or until she can find another solution.
But at least this way there's still a chance for everyone to survive.
While I was reading the last part, in my head was playing that dramatic SAW theme
Overall, I liked the story, more than the original, but I have some minor complaints:
-while you explained that the rest of the mane 6 were traumatized and why Celestia could not do jack shit, I felt like the first part of the story is too rushed.Make the rest of the ponies interact with eachother, show their reaction to what happened, make them mourn, answer questions:could Twilight still perform magic?Did Rarity continued to work?How did AJ's family react to seeing her in that state?How did Spike and the CMC react?
-while I don't blame you for this(probably it's me, not being a native english speaker), but I felt that Chrysalis's explanation about the alicorns and their choices was so...hard to understand.I think I failed to understand it completely, and for me, that is a downside
However, I loved the way you portrayed "the end game", especially on Chrysalis's part

Fair enough. I didn't want to make it hella long, so I just summed up the aftermath of the events of the first story to keep the story from getting too long. The main focus was getting to what mattered; the truth about Chrysalis's game and really what was going on behind the events of the first one. Adds more of a dramatic twist, and just a straight-up fatal ending in the end.
I wish their was an alternate version where Twilight chose to die. What happens after that? What would Celestia do? Heck what would Chrysalis do afterwards.

The reading was great it was just the story was complete in other trash it is on the level of Kings game stupidity. There are so many potholes in this story that if I did not turn off my brain I could literally not read this or listen to it cuz I would pause every second in think to myself how dumb this plan is. I'm not going to even go on why or preachers that are over a thousand years old would have some kind of counter measure for stuff like this and I'm also going to exclude that if it's true if these two people died the world with end I'm going to assume that the cannon on the original seven or six ponies who used to do celestia's job doesn't exist in this world. Even with all that excluded this story is still absolutely unbearable. This has such a great reading too. Send me the worst part is the character assassination of Celestia and simmer. That Celestia even in her situation went find a way to warn Twilight is my boggling and the stupid thing simmer did in the first one when she had access to her magic is made even worse from me listening to this. I thought the first story was bad but acceptable but reading this makes it oh so worseit would make me incompetent that celestial wouldn't start making plans for even if he did de. Plus how is Equestria destroyed Twilight still alive he is a young alicorn but he can still lift the Sun and Moon he might be devastated but there is no way he would let a question die because of it basically all the responsibilities would be on her if Chrysalis really wanted to have her revenge he would have killed Twilight as well Twilight is a immortal unicorn he will eventually get over this. Oh and please do not get me started on a chrysalis other than this might as well be a totally different character Chrysalis would never kill herself even if it is to get revenge on all of Equestria and I have to believe he'll come up with a plan smarter than this if he would do it there were so many exit strategies here she has control quite literally over the world with this curse she can just threaten to kill herself and Celestia Luna and cottage with a probably did what she said she could have commanded that Celestia was destroy thorax in celestial most likely would have done it. I don't know what the worst part is that this fanfiction try to be more than simple torture porn or it tried to be clever at all.

Apparently you missed the part in the first one where Twilight's cutie mark was removed and destroyed, taking away all of her advances in magic, so no, she couldn't do Celestia or Luna's jobs.
Second, this is an alternate universe, meaning nothing canon is relevant. Chrysalis was never meant to be G4 Chrysalis; she was meant to be my own creation that was a mix between a madwoman and serial killer. By killing herself, Twilight destroyed the one chance Equestria had at any survival. Curses, dark magic, and bewitching have been proven to exist in the MLP universe, so linked curses are very likely to be possible. It matters neither way, because alt. universe makes it irrelevant.
On Celestia finding a way out. I doubt there's a way out of a death curse that, if altered or tampered with, basically dooms Equestria. Celestia wouldn't risk it. She cares too much for her subjects, which is why she tried to warn Twilight in a way that didn't alter the curse. Twilight failed to see the warning and the fate of Equestria was sealed
If anything this was a Saw-inspired fic that was written to give people who are fans of the franchise and what it normally implies a good shiver. If you don't like those elements, good on you, and is more than likely the main reason you didn't like it or the first CR. That's fine. It's your opinion. I figured I'd just clear certain things up.

I know that this is a Saw-inspired fic, and that it will have a dark ending. But I really didn't like the "end of the world" style of a ending. That is way too much, even for a "torture porn" fic.
