I'm sure that all of us that watched the movie had moments that we thought made no sense, or could've been funnier in a different way. Well I decided to make a story based on HISHE where I comment on all the things I thought were weird. Because, while I enjoyed much of that movie, I though a lot of it was extremely strange, and could have been done better, or in a much funnier manner... Also, this is told from Twilight's Point of View to make things simpler for myself... So, enjoy!

Chryaslis' throne might of been a contrived plot device, but at least it was you know there. Not just Discord isn't around. Also let's face it Twilight has started a collection of unicorns now, they are all her bi*chs.

Thank you for your comments, it's always nice to see some feedback. Though, I don't think I could do a Batman and Superman scene correctly, I just don't know how I would make it work. Also, since I'm here, I should also ask what you mean by these two things.

Did you think it was just downright awful? Or did you just think there was more room for improvement than there should have been?
I myself thought that, compares to the Equestria Girls series, since that's really the only thing I can compare it to, it was a lot better. Heck I even went to see it again on half-off day, somewhat to remember some of the scenes to write this, but mostly just to enjoy it again, and now that I've written my opinion on the internet, everyone will hate me.

I rather thought it was pretty mediocre for lack of a more descriptive term to use. Twilight blowing up at her friends was probably my favorite part considering how hard they were playing with the idiot ball throughout the movie. She gets mad at them and they again pull the same crap they did during the wedding with only slightly better justification in my opinion. Derpy's attempt to save the day was a nice touch. The music was a let down as none of it was near as catchy as in the actual show save for perhaps that 'we've got this' song at the start. Storm King was funny but was in the movie so little and one part was literally designed to seem 'phoned in' that I had no real impression of him other than that he had a sense of humor.
Capper on the whole was what sunk my enjoyment of the story. In a series with entertaining conmen like the Flim Flam Brothers he was not at all up to snuff. How anyone, even a romantic like Rarity who keeps failing to see the substance for the surface, would trust that character for three seconds was beyond me. On the other hand, I liked Tempest even though I went in expecting to mock her for being edgy unicorn lady. I also liked Grubber and I usually don't like minion characters like him so there was that. I also liked the pirate birds just fine and felt they, in particular, could have used more fleshing out and were a missed opportunity.
As for the seaponies/hippogriffs, no shoo-be-doo reference at all so I was almost mad there but also let it go given that the reference would be so old only a few people would get it.
I like this already.

Except that here it was twilight that betrayed and turned her back on her friends first and twilight had no rational reason to do what she did so no, the situations are absolutely nothing alike.

I mean, your point isn't all true. We have no idea how Klugetown would have been (Capper's town.) if Pinkie hadn't drawn attention to them. Heck, they may have found the actual Hippo Queen as seen in the credits. We also have reason to believe that the ponies would have been completely fine during their escape from Klugetown if Rainbow hadn't done her Rainboom. Both of those things are things Twilight really didn't want to happen. It stressed her out and made her believe that her friends couldn't handle that the world outside Equestria can be sketchy. During the scene with the seaponies, we see Twilight trying to avoid making the situation worse by doing what she thinks should be done to save Equestria. Now, when she gets caught, she gets very stressed, and her friends start yelling at her for not seeing her side of the story. Twilight wasn't necessarily betraying her friends at anytime at all during this situation. She just said something that seemed far'fetched/rude, like in 'A Canterlot Wedding.' Then her friends up and left her for almost no reason, because someone else said she was wrong.
Sorry that got a little long, was just trying to show why Twilight was rude in the movie. Instead of my ridiculous answer that if you were going to inevitably made into hentai. You'd be upset too.

Yeah well, can't give too much credit to a movie that was designed for six yr old girls, the plot is more convenient than batman's utility belt, but that helps little girls have fun watching while we scream internally that everything could've been WAY better.

I agree, and in some areas the convenience is justified. An example is the show's tendency for huge plot expansion, which difficults movie writers in jamming everything in without making a shitty story.

So... To shed some light on the no Super Cafe scene thing... (Even though you're not mad about it) So, like many of the fans of HISHE one of my favorite parts is the Super Cafe scene at the end of all their How _____ Should Have Ended videos. But after my sort of twisted version of HISHE, like swearing and references to sex, I decided my version was a little odd. I also have no idea how to write a Super Cafe scene, and any attempt would probably ruin the whole story. Cause I actually have no idea how I would get the Mane 6 and co. into a situation with Batman and Superman, or how I would have the Mane 6 and co. interact with them. Trust me, it's better this way.
But enough of that, I'm glad that you're not upset about the no Super Cafe scene and that you had a good laugh while reading this.

Replace Superman and Batman with Celestia and Luna. They make some meta jabs at each other while trying to paper over their incompetence with a combination of paper-thin excuses and pretensions at chessmastery. Then have Discord wander in and sit down, not having the slightest clue about any of the stuff that happened in the movie. He'll then try to ad lib a narrative where he did know what was going on, but chose not to get involved. It should end with awkward silence as the three of them reflect upon their unspoken, but obvious collective dropping of the ball.

This was a great read and I was laughing so hard on the accuracy of these changes to the movie... And was it just me or was the cage Tempest put Twilight in a little too easy to escape from... Twilight could have fit through the bars in some of the shots, at least from the bottom...
This was my thought process when Tempest came in and told everypony that she wants the Princesses magics... "You want our magic?" Celestia asks Tempest incredulously charging up her magic, while looking at her sister, Cadence and Twilight, prompting them to do the same "Well here! Have it!!!" The Alicorns unleashed their magic in a unified beam that nuked the fleet of airships, as they swept the beam across the sky (think of Twilight vs Tirek beams.)

On the topic of Chrysalis's Throne, Discord could have just taken a big rock nearby and threw it at the throne from outside its canceling range. It cancels magic, but it can't cancel the kinetic energy and momentum imparted to an object by magic after it is thrown.
