The sisters have fallen.

A new government has arisen, promising equality for all ponies. A feat swiftly accomplished with great success, but with consequences. Some inhabitants of Equestria are outcasts in their own homes. A young filly named Flurry Heart leads a hidden life in the midst of the ponies of downtown Hoofington with her aunt and mother.

While Flurry attempts to cope with the destruction of what she thought to be right, she struggles for a way to keep those dear to her safe, without going against her core beliefs of love, peace and friendship that she’d been taught her whole life. But the looming danger of dragons, middle school drama and other more ominous threats isn’t exactly helping that goal.

Her story begins with two towers.
