Twilight Sparkle searches for perfection. It's a horrible idea.

Again, quite creepy. I like it.

I assume you'll be doing one for Luna?

May I suggest a possible title?

Selenophobia. I have a feeling that for a while, even looking at the moon would have been painful for Luna.

It's just a suggestion, of course.

8160211 In Favorable Alignment, Luna's fear was said to be letting her guard. I've considered doing one for her, but I always thought FA has handled her fear rather nicely - not to mention I may have some more secret projects.:raritywink:

8160424 Another story of mine called Favorable Alignment. I call it FA for short.

8160498 FA very much so, this one not as much. There's no context needed.

8160513 There is! Just find the big Luna picture on my page.

Wow, this was a beautiful story/poem, my only complaint is that it wasn't longer. Good job on this! :ajsmug:

Ah, thank you for catching that! Homophones kinda suck...

This remains the only serious poetry ever placed in my Favorites shelf.

Personally struggling with Atelophobia myself, there is a lot hidden behind both the poem and the condition in question.

It also tends to manifest in either a panicked need to do more and better every possible second, or making every small imperfection seem a mountain range to climb for so little progress than even small journeys can become inordinately daunting. Most of us with it have to deal with the latter. It has to be perfect before it's good enough...but perfect is at a distance of infinity.

Have you heard of 'Autophobia'? It's another serious collection of poetry by me that might interest you.

Thank you for taking something away from this! That's one of the things that matters most to me as a writer!

Your poetry left me shivering and covered in invisible cobwebs. All of your works are always incredibly stimulating to my senses, and that surprises me.

This is surprising to me too.

Maybe it's synesthesia?

and it rips at her heat

Here, you've dropped this: r

I dig the parallels with "Autophobia" here

Yeah oops lemme stick that in there.

Thankies! I pride myself on a big ol' continuity and maintaining it. I have to give my brain a proper way to process writing-pony over reading-pony and this is it.

Aww, over already? I was really looking forward to the part where Twilight is disillusioned in someone's perfection - either Rarity's following "Love and Song in Victory's Clarity" or, even better, Twilight expecting perfection of herself after the ascension and struggling to achieve it.

Aww, well I'm glad you like it! If you want more, there's always... basically any of my other stories. Most tend to reflect this one as well, if they're in the personal continuity. Thank you for continuing to read!

Guess we learned a lesson today. No one is perfect. We make mistakes and we fail. But we have to always try and try over and over again because failure is showing you a way to succeed in life and you will learn from your mistakes and failure to always try something else and not do the same thing again. Failure is how we learn and if we don’t fail we won’t learn.

Wow, no one has given this a read in a while! Thanks for checking it out and taking something away from it.
