Amulet Azalea spent most of her life like a hermit, until one day she discovers the family she ran away from has disappeared along with the rest of the unicorn race. With mixed feelings she begins to search for answers- is she really the last unicorn?
Inspired by Peter S. Beagle's The Last Unicorn
This sounds very interesting so far. I'll be watching for more!
Does Amulet Azalea sound like Iggy Azalea?

Not sure I understand the reference, but it's pronounced
am-MEW-let AH-ZAY-lee-AH
I choose it so if you say it fast enough, it begins to sound a little like Amalthea- which is the name the unicorn adopts in the book/movie.
I'm assuming you are basing this on the book as opposed to the animated movie?

Yes, but I’m trying not to stick too close to it.
Are you a fan of the book? :)

It is on my list of books to read. I've seen the animated movie and want to compare the two.

As a fan of both the animated movie and book, I recommend it. Although the pacing is a lot slower than the movie , Peter S. Beagle has a poetic way of describing things, and you find out more about the characters' backgrounds. For instance, there's a reason why King Haggard's castle is so empty and barren- and it's not just aesthetic.
