Awkward Happiness

In the magical land of Equestria, Spike Pilgrim is dating a filly!

"Really Spike? Well actually I personally wouldn't know, but is she hot?" asked Twilight who, at the time was munching on a piece of wheat toast.

"Isn't she a little young for you Spike?" Asked AppleJack.

"No AppleJack, I'm not that old, right?" Wondered Spike.

"Well, I personally think that you two should be great together, as long as you think so too, I guess..." Quietly said Fluttershy almost squeaking from not wanting to upset anypony.

"See, At least Fluttershy agrees with me about my relationship." Claimed Spike.

"So who even is this mystery child." Asked AppleJack

"Her name is Apple Bloom, she's southern, and an earth pony." Stated Spike who was clearly proud of himself.

"A southern, Nice Spike."Twilight said.

"She sounds familiar." pondered AppleJack.

"So where did you meet this filly anyways?" asked Fluttershy.

Flashback

Spike was walking down the streets of ponyville when a red mained filly trips almost right infront of him, everything flying out of her saddlebags, some even colliding with Spike's legs.

"Are you okay?" Asked Spike to the small filly.

"Yes, I'm fine. What's your name?" She asked Spike.

"Im Spike, and you?"

"My name is Apple Bloom. Thanks for helping with my bags, maybe we could hang out sometime?"

"Sure, sounds great!" Spike said.

unflashback

"And that's how it happened!" Exclaimed Spike who was still smiling at the earlier description of his achievement.

"Well, as long as you're happy, I guess that's okay." Said Twilight.

"Thank you Twilight!" Spike said as he was putting on his winter jacket, because Winter Wrap Up doesn't happen in ponyville anymore, due to global warming.

Spike was walking down the street with Apple Bloom, who at the time was wearing her warmest saddle, and spike wearing his jacket parka thing.

"At Cheerilee's school today, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and I were walking out to recess, and then Twist brought us some of her peppermint sticks, and we had a Cutie Mark Crusaders snack party!" Said Apple Bloom who was making it sound like the funnest thing ever.

"But I thought Twist wasn't a Cutie Mark Crusader."

"Not officially. She has her cutie mark, but we still let her help us find our talent. Plus, she brings the tastiest snacks ever! No wonder she got her cutie mark in that field."

"Sounds fun." Said Spike who was silently wishing he was there at the time.

"Yeah, it was. Oooh, Quills and Sofas, I've never been there."

"Wanna go?" Asked Spike.

"Sure!"

Spike and Apple Bloom walk (Apple Bloom trotting) into Quills and Sofas.

Apple Bloom was admiring a sofa with a quill embedded into it.

"This sofa is amazing!" Said Apple Bloom. "Maybe I could put it in the barn."

"I've had bad experiences with this place." Said Spike

"Like what?"

"When Owlicious first came to ponyville, Twilight ran out of quills. And this place RAN OUT OF QUILLS!"

"So you're telling me that Quills and Sofas ran out of quills."

"Yup."

"Wow."

The Next Day Or Something

"So you have to be good, okay?" Said Spike worried of the next few moments to come.

"Of course I'll be good!" Complained Apple Bloom.

"No, seriously, be good."

"I am good! Unless you think--"

"Do you promise?"

"Yes, I promise."

Twilight Sparkle opens the door to her's and Fluttershy's apartment

"What are you telling this filly to say Spike?"

"Oh, hey Twi, this is Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom, this is Twilight Sparkle, she's the talent. Can we come in now, it's cold!"

"Yeah, come on in." Twilight said.

"He made me promise to be good."

"He may have been kidding, are you normally bad? Implying that you make him think you're bad, but you don't look bad."

"I dont know."

"Hey AppleJack, this is Apple Bloom." Said Spike.

"Hi, sorry what was your name?" Asked Apple Bloom.

"AppleJack."

"And what do you play again?"

AppleJack was sitting at a drumset. "Drums."

"Wow..."

"Hey, Apple Bloom this is Fluttershy." Said Spike.

"Hi, i'm Fluttershy."

"Howdy Fluttershy! What do you play?"

"Nothing, I just live here."

"Oh." AppleBloom is not impressed.

"Okay, let's start with Launchpad McQuack!" Shouted Spike.

"For the record, that's not actually the title of the song. It's actually called-"

"WE ARE THE APPALOOSANS!" AppleJack Screamed. "ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!!"

Yeah, I know, movie music, deal with it.

Apple Bloom's mind is blown.

When someone makes a crossover of any of my favourite shows/graphic novels/films etc. I'm always unsure of how I feel about them until I've read a few chapters so I'm reserving my judgement.

My recommendation is to go to your local library, or go to it on the internet, and place the whole Scott Pilgrim Sega Graphic Novel on Hold. So, when you go to get it from the library, you will be able to read all six volumes of Scott Pilgrim by Brian Lee O'Malley
