Burst and Moon watch Power Rangers

It's Morphin Time!

Burst woke up with a happy yawn as he stretched. He made his way over to the calendar, and smiled. Today was the day. After months of teasers and trailers, it was finally here! The Power Rangers movie! Burst fondly remembered when he first turned on the TV, and sat about a foot away to see the rangers morph and fight the monster-of-the-week. And he LIVED for when the megazord would show up. But what Burst loved most of all, was the theme song. Burst headed for the shower, and began to sing the theme song as he washed. "They've got, a power and a force that you've never seen before! They've got the ability to morph and to even up the score! No one will ever take them down! The power lies on their si-i-i-i-i-ide! Go go Power Rangers! Go go Power Rangers! Go go Power Rangers! Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers! They know! That the fate of the world is lying in their hands! They know! To only use their weapons for defense! No one will ever take them down! The power lies on their si-i-i-i-i-i-ide! Go go Power Rangers! Go go Power Rangers! Go go Power Rangers!"

"Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers!", Moon sang happily. Burst froze as his head peaked out of the shower.

"...How much of that did you hear?", Burst asked with a light blush.

"Oh Burst. I've heard you singing the theme song in your dreams.", Moon said sweetly. "Also, I hope you enjoyed piloting the Megazord."

"Moon. You're the best." Burst and Moon shared a kiss before Burst covered himself, and changed in his room. When Burst was dressed, he was wearing a shirt modeled after the original red ranger. "You know, most girls would be ashamed that their boyfriend is eighteen and still watches Power Rangers."

Moon was wearing a pink ranger shirt instead of her usual azure shirt. "I think it's nice. With how old you are, you've never truly grown out of the things you like. And somehow, you manage to channel a good amount of maturity. So how're we going to celebrate the new movie? Besides seeing it of course."

"Well, I already sang the theme song. How about we watch the show?"

"Oh! Shining Spoon was going on about this latest series! Ninja Steel!"

"Moon. They already did a ninja season."

"Huh. How about Megaforce?"

"...Fine. But don't say I didn't warn you.", Burst said with a sigh as Moon turned on the TV and the Megaforce theme began to play. Moon had a puzzled look on her face as the theme song played.

"Burst?"

"Hm?"

"Why does it sound almost EXACTLY like the original theme song?"

"You think THAT'S bad? Just wait until the episode really begins..."

One Megaforce episode later....

"Sweet Celestia this season feels so joyless!", Moon said with a look of horror on her face! "I...I need something to wash this away!"

"I've got it covered.", Burst said as he pulled out a DVD box set. "Time for Time Force." Burst and Moon watched the first few episodes of Time Force.

"Wow. This is good!", Moon said with a smile.

"Yeah. This was the time when there were original ideas for a season.", Burst said with a fond smile. "Too bad it all ended after Samurai."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Dino Charge is a copy of Dino Thunder. Ninja Steel is a wannabe of Ninja Storm. And lastly, Megaforce is a copy of Mighty Morphin'."

"Speaking of Mighty Morphin', I noticed that one of the actors from there went on to star in other ranger seasons."

"Ah. Jason David Frank. Best ranger ever. Period.", Burst said with a smile. "He was the original sixth ranger, and was one of the most popular. He even reprised his role in Dino Thunder."

"In that case, shouldn't you be wearing the Green ranger shirt? Tommy and Kimberly were a couple in Mighty Morphin'."

"Heroes come in all colors.", Burst said with a pout.

"I'm sorry...", Moon said with a flirty smile as she curled up next to Burst. "You know I like it when I can get you to pout. You look so cute when you do it."

"...Darn it. You know I can't resist you when you get all flirty. Can't you save that for when we're in the theater? I reserved good seats for us. Plenty of snuggle room."

"Mmmm. It's not the same.", Moon purred. "Besides, I like curling up with you here. Especially since the Megazord's about to summon the power sword." As Moon said, the Megazord destroyed the monster in one slash! "I wonder how they'll mess that up."

"I just hope they have the theme song. They can mess up as much as they want. But if they mess with the theme song, I'll be walking out of the theater VERY disappointed."

"They better have the theme. It's not the same without it."

"I guess we'll be finding out today.", Burst said with a smile. "The others managed to get tickets too."

"You know, I realize something."

"What's that?"

"You, Inferno, Ace, Steel, and Sunset would be the perfect Ranger cast!", Moon said with a smile. "Ace is the brainy one, Steel's the cool-headed one, Inferno's the hot-shot, Sunset's the one with looks and smarts, and you're the leader! It makes sense, right?"

Burst chuckled. "True. But who'd be the sixth ranger?"

Moon wrapped her arms around Burst. "Isn't it obvious?"

Burst smiled. "C'mere." The two made out for a bit before checking the time. "We'll we'd better get going. It's morphin' time." Burst and Moon met up with their friends at the theater, and headed inside.

"GO GO POWER RANGERS!"

SO AMAZING! I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen next.. and I'm looking forward to seeing how they will like the movie and I'm hoping when I go see the movie they have the theme song

I should clarify. Burst did not say that season was horrible. Merely that a lot of it was similar to Dinot Thunder. I like Dino Charge too.

I agree. Turbo was HATED by the fans, but RPM did a better job. Namely because the vehicles resembled some form of animal. Also, I didn't watch any of Jungle Fury, so I've got nothing to go off of there.
