Collect Wood

Twilight awoke to find herself feeling all warm a fuzzy all over. She tried to sit up couldn’t seem to find the energy to do so. She tried to remember what happened, but didn’t seem to have enough energy for even that.

There was something about a spell that she had never cast before, and something really embarrassing that she couldn’t quite remember. Finally figuring out that she was laying in bed, it was time to get some answers on what had happened.

“Spike are you there?” Twilight called out, only silence answered.

“Spike?”

With nothing better to do, Twilight dozed back into dreamless slumber.

---A few hours later---

Twilight woke up to the sound of her bedroom door slamming open.

“Twilight! We have a problem!” Spike yelled.

Twilight sat up and got out of bed immediately. “Are the Everfree monsters attacking again!?”

“What? No! The builder thing is destroying Applejack’s farm!”

“Oh my gosh, we have to… wait, builder thing?” Twilight asked.

“The thing you summoned to rebuild Ponyville!” Spike explained waving his arms up and down.

It was at this moment Twilight realized that she couldn’t remember why she was in her bed. In fact, she couldn’t remember anything that happened since the last monster started attacking on Ponyville. She quickly came to the conclusion that the monster must have hurt her causing her to lose her memories.

“Spike, take a letter! We’re going to need help for this one.”

“I’m on it!” Spike scurried out of the bedroom in search of some paper and a quill.

---Meanwhile at Sweet Apple Acres---

“It’s going for ‘nother one Applejack!” Applebloom yelled out to her big sister.

“This varmint is not gettin’ any more of my trees!” Applejack yelled out while charging headfirst at a creature she had never seen before.

It had only been 5 minutes since the universe’s greatest builder had arrived at Sweet Apple Acres, and in those 5 minutes it had cut down 23 of the Apple’s family trees, with nothing but a rock. All the while, the creature seemed to be doing some kind of side stepping dance around the tree it was cutting, causing it to dodge all attempts to make it stop.

Applejack’s charge missed the creature again. The creature seemed to not even notice Applejack was trying to stop it, and if it did notice, it didn’t seem like it was stopping anytime soon.

“I swear, if you touch any of my trees one more time, I’ma buck you till you won’t feel nothin’.” Applejack said while trying to catch her breath.

Surprisingly, the creature actually stopped and looked straight at Applejack, who was covered in sweat from trying to stop him.

They stared at each other intensely.

While still facing the cowboy hatted pony, the creature spoke just on word.

“Ok.” And then hit the tree again with his rock.

Applejack groaned and hit the ground from exhaustion.

---

Twilight had Spike send her letter to the Princess’s asking for help. The letter didn’t have too many details, as Twilight didn’t have a clear memory on what happened, but overall the letter basically said, ‘help, no memory, monster attack.’

However, the urgency of the letter was greatly toned down, as Spike had a perfect memory of the events that happened.

A creature, greatly larger than himself, towered over Twilight and Spike. Spike started worrying what it might do, and Twilight was out for the count. It was up to him to protect his pseudo mom all by himself.

Friendly?” Said the creature.

“You’re not hurting… wait did you say friendly?” Spike said with Twilight snoozing behind him.

“Friendly?” Said the creature, again.

Spike starting feeling a bit more safe about his situation. “Yeah I’m friendly, are you?”

The creature looked around the crystal walls and floors with a slightly dissatisfied look, as if he was searching for something.

“Collect Wood” And then promptly sprinted out the front door.

Can't wait for the next chapter

I detect a lot of rust memes incoming...this will be hilarious...

If I could suggest something:

Maybe somehow have MORE rust humans in Equestria? I would find it amusing to see them try and either work together...or fight...

Either way, more rust humans would be interesting to see in the future...just a suggestion...

This is sweet

I like it they just eake up the next day and a fortress has been built

Collekt Vood
I love you

I just have a smile from start to end from this chapter.
Alway thought the idea of how people act in video games in real life would have some real... (let's go with odd) odd situations with are lazy ways to ask/talk and the weird ass crap we do in games to keep efficient/safe.

8072722 SOUND BAITING TIME! OH EVEN BETTER TRAP CELESTIA IN A TRAP BASE!

I know Rust has 'good builders' but wouldn't the title of the greatest go to Minecraft Steve? I love both games but construction wise I think there is more in Minecraft; you get to ignore gravity 99% of the time!:rainbowlaugh:

I know this story is about Rust but I just wanted to add something  . Great start to the story by the way:rainbowwild:

you came up first and was the one I was looking for

I'll just leave this here

This is hilarious!

will this come back?
