Celestia and Luna are not the only Immortals plagued by worshipers trying to put them on pedestals as gods. Discord has the same problem.
The real issue is that such worshipers can get in the way of the real work of Celestia, Luna or even Discord.
Discord has real work? Indeed he/she does. It is vital to the safety of the world. And Discordians are abusing an ancient artifact, the Compass of Discord, to disrupt that important work in the belief that they are HELPING TO SPREAD DISCORD.
Daring Do must find and recover the Compass before Discord's vital work is ruined.

I imagine her as a somewhat rough voice, higher pitched than the Discord of the show. If she has taken another form, her voice will match that form.
She rarely raises her voice because she doesn't need to. It is not wise to upset a being of such power as Eris/Discord!
Well thats a few twists in the story. Pricey authorization stamps there and it probably wouldn't be the only time she needed stamps take your pick of reasons

I am quite gratified by your interest in the voices of my OCs.
Daring Do as I hear her is not the somewhat smartass that I have heard in the show. She is eager to learn almost anything new and that shows in her speech, which is soft, often thoughtful, but her interest shows in rising inflections.
Withers has a slightly low range voice. He is used to command and that shows in his speaking style. He tries to correct that tendency.
Morail has two very different ways of speaking. Her Zebra has a severe Diamond Dog accent. Her Equestrian is accented similar to an Africans accent and her voice is basically a bit on the high pitched side. When speaking Diamond Dog, her voice drops about two registers and her style of delivery is sort of choppy, which suits the language.
Cyrene Yvonne Clopes has a voice that is clear, and mid range. Her delivery is usually very calm and deliberate. She does get excited and delighted by two things. One is when she is pleasing her Mistress Eris, and the other is when she is speaking of and remembering killing, which she loves to do.
Amber has a bit of a husky voice. Low pitched for a female.
Ondar Ottarhoof is a loudmouth blowhard who speaks sort of mid to low voice.

It is not cancelled. I had some major problems including a long bout of writer's block, where I knew exactly what I wanted to write until I sat down to do it. The words just would not come. The next chapter of the Compass of Discord is now shaping up nicely. I have been concentrating on some Nightmare Night projects partly because I did not know that anypony was even interested in reading the tale.
Good use of the net panels, would be good for recon of areas of the outside around the drift. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

Do the Mane Six know about this?
After Twilight became a Princess it became necessary for her to know exactly what and very importantly WHY Discord/Eris' work must be allowed to go forward. The rest of the Mane Six remain ignorant out of necessity. Eris, Discord's preferred form, has a vital role to play in the world but if what she does is known too widely, her vital work would be severely compromised. At least in my AU, she has been friends to the Twins for about 1500 years or so. You can find a copy of my AU's canon by digging in my blog.
I started it after the Hearthwarming Pageant in Season 1. I saw GLARING holes in the story of the pageant, For instance, where were the Immortal Twins, Celestia and Luna? I then realized that many other problems were the SAME holes that I was raised with from the late 1940s through the 1960s. Later, I found the REAL history of the settlement of the Colonies and later the westward expansion of the USA. The land was RICH, yes. EMPTY? NO! I started with that and as a result, my canon became VERY DIFFERENT from the show's.
