When two humans land on a planet with their shell-person companion at the helm, they think they are prepared for anything. Ponies was not among their definition of "anything," however.
"We have to be able to do something." Leaning against the cold, titanium column, Dustin struggled to think about what he knew of the inner workings of a shellperson. Kiera's body was shrunken (her pituitary gland, among others, modified to stunt her physical growth), and her head would be mostly a mass of cabling and tubes. The nutrient tubes would be entering the tiny body's chest, while a set of machines kept the organic parts of Kiera fed, oxygenated, and interconnected to the ship. "What about if we pull you out into the magic of Equestria?"
as i thought, Kiera is slowly turning into a pony as well.
Ah, to become fully organic again. It's rather strange that the rules and regulations don't have a generalized ruling for situations like these. We think the thought experiment would shake them up a bit... To Twilight: are you ready? Keep going! ;)
Pity the magic cant use gems and hive link to replace the electrical neural taps with quantum entangled ones instead. That way Kiera can be physically macroscopically seperate from the ship, yet still physically quantumly linked in both magically and non magically resiliant forms.
8733113 "Benefit of the doubt" that you aren't a practiced arsehole and were just a little worked up about something to leave such an abrasive comment.
Question for Belay/ Dustin: "Would it not theoretically be possible, through conference with Princess Luna and the other Alicorns to try and devise a way to teleport Kiera's body outside of the ship thus removing some of the dangers of attempting to remove her manually?"
A brain ship is not human, they are very much their own sort of creatures. The Borg wish they were as fully integrated as these beings, the ship is truly Kiera's body in every possible sense of the word. She has existed in this form for centuries, reducing her to a simple biological form would be a terrible diminishing for one who has danced on the solar winds of stars.

Just have to wait and see.
Considering what the magic did to her brawns its logical to assume its affecting Kiera
8733081 Things are a little more complicated with Kiera, however.
8733094 considering what goes into preparing Brains before they're installed in their installations of course it would be complicated from that alone
8733105 Indeed. Can magic hold the answer to the problem of freeing the Valkyrie from her titanium chestplate?

i dont think "benefit of the doubt" is the right phrase there
8733110 If anything can thats probably it. The height of Fed medical science could only give them a future of being brains
