One moment, Starlight Glimmer was looking through Spike’s comic collection. The next, she found herself pulled into a magical comic featuring the Power Ponies! But this time, the comic has cast our hero as The Red Menace, a sometime-ally, sometime-rival of the Power Ponies, who uses the strange powers of her sentient beard to bring a tough brand of justice to the streets of Maretropolis.
When another outsider reveals herself, and Starlight is pulled into a high-stakes battle royale, the question is: can both Starlight and her adversary find a way to escape the comic world, or is it winner-take-all?

It was quite a bit of fun to read with action and smiles all around. I enjoyed the epilogue more than I probably should. I am curious though as to why Spike keeps buying comics from the same shop though... especially darker ones. He should probably avoid any Tales From the Crypt type stories from there. Just saying.
On a separate note: In your in Rising Action section you're missing an of and it reads “None the reasons matter for you, do they?"

I figure Spike probably bought more than one issue on his trip to Enchanted Comics, but maybe he "forgot" to give the rest back. It would be pretty cool to be a kid and have a comic that could take you into a super hero world, even if you knew it was dangerous and you never planned to open it again.

I... don't know what to think about this
I mean, you turned Starlight into a communist anti-hero with a talking beard!! What's cooler than that? And now that I think about it, that beard is similar to the Mane-iac's mane, which rises the question, did she get mad because of her talking hair?

I really liked the characterization of Starlight in this fanfic, just the joke of her being a communist pony was more than enough to have my attention but the rest of it... Man, I can't tell you how much I liked this fanfic! It is funny, at the same time is kind of serious when it needs it to be.
The moment the beard encouraged Starlight to make team with El Taco loco instead of fighting her was probably the most inspiring thing I've ever read!

If you're referring to the Power Ponies as a group you should use the plural, it would be better this way:

Oh, the moment Starlight and Sonata made an alliance was amazing. Starlight is best mind-controlling pony!! But if they were a real team in the comic, what should be their name? I was thinking on something like "Los Tacomunistas"

Such a bizarre concept, but great execution nonetheless! I really enjoyed it ^.^ A talking mask and a sentient beard help some MLP characters in a comic book learn about Communism. I definitely wouldn't have come up with that idea.

It's funny, but I never thought of this one as random. I mean, granted, the concept is pretty random... except it's kinda not, right? It's just turning Glimmy and Sonata into Power Pony versions of themselves. Albeit versions influenced by one of the great underappreciated actually-random fics on the site.
I think the randomness was as much due to the beard and mask and all that socialism without mentioning Vladimir Ilyich by name even once...
Yeah, I agree with you about Moosetasm's take on ridiculous pony fics, I don't know if you can get more random than that and maintain coherence, but then again, banished Princesses need hugs too...
