Different destinies for different ponies. The Ultimare's started off very differently without a sonic rainboom... Living in the big city they had very drastically different lives. And yet, they all gained their cutiemarks from a singular focal event.
Each of these ponies are drastically different from their Canon counterparts.

Ivory - Rarity "Diamond in the Rough"
Sparkling Cider - Apple Jack "Burning Beauty"
Prism Wing - Rainbow Dash "Potential Never Wasted"
Cottontail - Fluttershy "Inner Animal"

Ah, I really love this alternative universe! Nice to see somebody making a story about it!
From what I can say, it's well written, save some little error here and there. Sure, it could use a bit of more work, because it looks a little fast-paced, and the division is sub-chapters it's a bit... "confusing". I don't know how to really say it. It's just that it breaks the story too much and it makes the reading too "jumpy". I'd suggest to make a simple, whole chapter, or at least in two separate chapters. That will make the reading flow better in my opinion.
In the meanwhile, I'll follow this!

And thanks for the advice, it's somewhat slides off what some of my editors stated to me as well, but it was at the final stage of writing that I couldn't just scrap it and rewrite everything...
Although to me it feels like it fits, a rage filled teen's point of view running amuck and everything... but that's just me~

One last question~ Who would you like to be showcased next? I have the outline for each of the stories, so I just wanna gauge what I should put up next.
Have to say I never heard of the Ultimare Universe until I read this story, but now I love it. This really will be great and may I suggest you not end it when your story has covered the mane six. Might I suggest adding bonus chapters at certain points after they get there cutie marks. And I certainly would like to see Stardust raising Spyke, I am a major Spike fan.
As for who to do next I would suggest either Sparkling Cider or Cottontail.

But don't fret!! I'm not done writing in this universe after this and I do plan on writing other stories after this is over and have a few ideas in mind as well!

I was recently introduced to the alternate universe that is the inspiration for this story. It's interesting to see how you interpreted how Twilight got her cutie mark and received Spyke. Hope you continue this soon!
