This is an interesting story, however I'm concerned that this might end in a downer ending, hopefully that won't happen.
7710253 This is what I adore about this fandom. We all love the show but are diverse in what we like about it.
In my previous story, which features Sombra and the mane 6, there were soooo many mixed opinions.
A lot of readers wanted Sombra to win while others wanted a happy ending.
Without spoiling my other story (Prisoners of the Crystal Empire), when I chose how the ending would be, one of the sides got a little disappointed.
The ending to this story is still a long way to come though. The main thing I want is for readers to enjoy the journey.

I guess one nick-pick I could say about the scene where Celestia passed out, what Sombra should've done was to laid Celestia on her back to allow blood to flow to her brain.

Hot Dam, just noticed this one. One of my favorite writers started a new Sombra dominates someone fic. I loved the last fic a lot (Prisoners of the Crystal Empire), looking forward to this one. I haven't started reading yet, but since your going off season 5 final. How is Luna around? I assumed by watching the episode that the main 6 never formed and the elements are still hidden, therefore Celestia did something to prevent the return of her sister since she never trained Twilight to stop that to begin with. Oh well, I guess I will see about it when I start reading the story.
Edit: ok read the first chapter, I see this is inspired by the season 5 final not based off it. I know you didn't write this in your fic but I guess I vision it like Sombra did the smart thing after seeing Hail Marry Cadence swipe the crystal heart, which was he immediately crystal locked up the dais and frightened off the spectators, so they couldn't charge up the crystal or have it placed in the proper location so it's magic could banish him. The main 6 escape with Cadence, Cadence begins using the crystal heart for the resistance and plotting how to remove the barrier, charge in and place the heart, but the Crystal Empire as a majority was lost and dominated by Sombra. A few months later "Prisoners of the Crystal Empire" pick ups with a some what charged up heart given to Twilight. So far (just from the first short chapter) this seems like a sequel, is it? Or are the two not supposed to be that linked together.

To answer your question, although the story seems to be related to my previous one, it is not directly related
. The premise is kind of the same: what if Sombra didn't get banished at the beginning of season 3 and he started a war with Equestria, but that is where the similarities/connections end.
Although I would be very happy if people did read Prisoners of the Crystal Empire, they in no way have to do so before reading this, as I do not directly reference anything from that story (although you may see some similar themes).
In addition, the way in which I shall depict Sombra in this story will be slightly different from in PotCE. Not to mention, the characters he will 'interact' (
) with shall differ.

It feels so good to have you back with another Sombra fic. I was highly anticipating another story from you, and boy, was I not disappointed. It took me awhile, but I finally caught up on reading the three chapters. It's very long, but still very good.
In fact, ever since your completion of your first fic, I couldn't find any other good Sombra stories for awhile. There was even one person who attempted to do a Sombra X Twilight fic, and boy! Was it atrocious! The story was poorly written, several scenes made absolutely no sense, and worst of all. Several users, who thought that the story could have some potential, tried to help the person by commenting advice and suggestions, only for that person to blow them off by deleting their comments, instead. I know this, because I was one of the users who got blown off for trying to help.
I know this is not a Sombra X Twilight fic, and I would never push you to do one, but at least you don't write Sombra fics that are made of f***ing garbage.
Loving the story so far! I will probly like it anyway it turns out but I like the pace. Question, where are the elements? Not twi and the gang but the actual sparkly gemstones. Any way I'm predicting because Equestria won in your last story you will have Sombra be victorious. Can't wait for more! No I actually can't. GET TO WORRRRRRRK

I really enjoy this story and it just makes me think of my favorite line of video games Legacy of Kain and Soul Reaver.

My initial plan was to have each sister try to "seduce" him in their own way - Celestia would pretend to take a liking to him and spend the days (and nights) in the royal chamber, while Luna would be defiant so she would get tortured by the king, but attempt to try to make him "hot and heavy" and slip up, so she can escape.
