One thing jumped out at me, though -- not a flaw in the story, just something Gilda seems to have glossed over: pegasi may not hunt, but they do have a practical use for flight beyond aerobatics, in that they're responsible for the weather. Even if the camp emphasizes sports, it seems likely that weather control basics would be part of the curriculum, which raises the question of whether a griffon can be taught anything in that area beyond pushing clouds around... and if not, how Gilda might react to being stuck in the wee-little-filly groups when weather training comes up...

I try! And having only half of one episode to work from is a bit difficult. But Chuckfinley has helped out with certain things. Several (very small) things in this story and Dash Eats Meat are nods to his story Banishment Decree, which is probably what got me interesting in Gilda and Dash in the first place.
952388 1001906 Yes, Pinkie is Pinkie. And I tend to think magic is overused in fanfics. In the show, Twilight rarely does anything spectacular, and even then it usually takes a lot out of her and/or requires a lot of reading. Hell, she only teleports short distances, and only when she's stressed.

This reminds me of why I generally don't like Dashie... how "OMG-- the bestest!" and whatever she acts all the time... and it's that similarity in personality that draws her together with Gilda... I'm glad that I'm not in a situation where Dashie was real and I had to pretend to like her or anything.

Can't believe it took me so long to get to this. Like the last one, pretty good. You've got a very in-character Gilda, and I like the narrative style. Though on the negative side, the update rate really concerns me, especially considering the short length, and you've frequently used "yea" instead of "yeah," which just looks all kinds of wrong. And you put authors notes at the beginning of a chapter instead of the end, which you shouldn't do.
Other than that, I liked it, and I hope to see more.
