Someone did this..... Oh my god, someone did this! Someone actually did this!
When I saw this moment I said immediately: "There's a mare whose head is stuck in a fence! I'm sure there's an interesting story behind this. Someone should write a fic about this, but probably no one will, cause the fandom is not really paying attention to interesting background moments anymore today, sadly."
But now there is! Someone wrote one, after all!
You are the hero of the brony fandom right now, we need more authors like you! I'm going to read this today, don't know how, but I squeeze it in somehow! This is amazing.

Well, as you said, nobody else was doing it. :pinkiehappy:

This was a fun little story, and rather original in premise. I like it!

As for the pickled peppers, AFAIK tobasco sauce is made from pickled peppers. You can't make a Bloody Mary without tobasco sauce.

7581956 Since you got me curious, I looked it up; the peppers used to made Tabasco sauce are mashed and then undergo an aging process that is indeed a sort of pickling process before being bottled and sold.

I also learned that original style Tabasco sauce has a shelf life of up to five years if kept in a cool and dry place. :rainbowhuh:

I wouldn't know anything about Bloody Marys.

Getting stuck in a fence is nothing to sneeze at. Glad things turned out for the butter. :pinkiehappy:

Now, everytime I rewatch that episode, I'll be thinking this is happening just off screen hahahaxD

I don't know how do you make fanfics this long this much fun, but you clearly have some skills!

Bar the mention of flank-staring, I honestly think this little fic would fit right in as a short in the show.

My two only disappointed is that we never saw the confrontation with Mr Crotchety. I would have liked to know why the mares are so afraid of him. Lily also seemed a bit OOC (from what little we know of her), but then you included the little "The horror, the horror!" reaction and, before that, trying to better define her panic (I was never a fan of the flower trio, due to their rather sexist portrayal, especially with Lily as the 'fainting woman'), but this and another fanfiction has warmed me to them, at least in the fandom.

It obviously was a couple of years ago now...but I do seem to dimly recall I had at one point, while writing, gone into more detail about Crotchety's appearance...but then removed most of it because I found that eliminating that mystery surrounding him took some of the edge off the threat he seemingly presented. I found it more entertaining to leave it up to reader interpretation instead on whether or not he actually lived up to Pink's possibly exaggerated claims. :rainbowlaugh:

I can tell you one thing, though--he be a short ol' boi. That was one detail that was never in dispute. :raritywink:
