Compared to normal humans, Jax might seem Gary-Stuish, though I assure you that he isn't. He's not invincible, nor is he the only supernatural entity on the block, as the Dazzlings can attest to. But he does have several aces up his sleeve that give him an advantage, as you will see in later chapters, as well as, ahem... personal issues.
