In a world ruled by Humans and Ponies the alliance between the two races brought peace and prosperity to all. But as time went on the relationship between the two sisters who ruled over all of ponydom grew strained and as one rose to overthrow the other, the might of their magic and fears the conflict bred forced the humans to act.
In light of how devasting betrayal could be to all things a war soon broke out between the two races. After a long battle the humans were victorious and sealed the ponies underground with a magic spell.
One thousand years later, a child has fallen down into Equestria, are they determined enough to make it out alive?

7565830 Heh. my first story's first chapter had 200+ words back then. I decided to combine the second chapter to the first one, making a one-thousand word count. Though it had a surprisingly positive like/dislike ratio. With that, I meant there was no dislikes.

I've never had much trouble writing at least 500 to 1000 word chapters, as this story was created due to technical limitations but I can understand that not everyone finds creative writing easy.
I'm just surprised Ponytale has gotten as much positive feedback in such a short span of time! It hasn't made the feature box or anything but the handful of people commenting and participating makes my day, to the point where I'm fighting against my excitement to not publish the parts of the next arc I've already done.
I wish I could, but I had a simple plan of updating in large chunks due to the short length of each chapter so as not to leave readers with just a few hundred words to read.
I'm just so damn happy about this even though it's not even a dozen people reading this thing!

I knew someone was gonna flirt with the skeleton, and this iteration of Frisk hasn't been exposed to such concepts yet, they're like a little under 10 years old in this, though that might be hard to tell as I haven't written a child character before.

As much fun as Frisk had with them, I think Frisk would be over the moon when they see the Dog Brigade in Grillby's. And since they're not going on an actual date, Papyrus never got the "official dating rulebook" from the library, meaning Frisk could find it and its meta-jokes.

* Considering dating sims are one of the author's favourite genres of games, the idea of Frisk finding a guide to one is to good to pass up.
I prefer visual novels of the romance genre but eh, it'll still be fun. Dunno how Frisk will interprer it though.

Yep, I decided to add a nod to the show. Plus Toby Fox leaves little easter eggs to Earthbound and stuff and since I've chucked in more than a few nods to the game Okami, a few more references to other games I like wouldn't hurt. At the time of writing this, the next chapter is nearly done.

I'm just going to reply to your comments in one go. Firstly Cadence does a backstory and motivation to be part of the royal guard and secondly I picture Rainbow Dash as someone who doesn't really cook much.
As for all the bonus, eh fine with me. It doesn't look like anyone else is commenting but given how short my chapters are I guess there isn't much to comment on and I do try to write as much as I can here on the PS4.
Got any theories as to what's going on? I'm kinda curious about what my readers think of this story so far.
