1. The Blue Box pt1

The Blue Box

It was a quiet morning in the land of Equestria. The sun was slowly beginning to rise into the sky, the birds were singing, and a young, yellow Pegasus with a light pink mane and a triple butterfly cutie mark, was out feeding her animals.

“Alright… just one more bowl to fill and then I’ll feed Angel bunny.” Fluttershy said in an almost sing-song melody.

She looked up to find that her friend Rainbow Dash was flying towards her at a rather quick pace. She waited patiently as her oldest friend landed in front of her with a soft thump. She was sweating profusely and had a rather horrified expression on her face.

“Are you alright Dash? You don't look to go-”

“FLUTTERSHY.. I really need your help!” Dash said with tears in her eyes.

Fluttershy gave her friend a concerned look and then said,
“What's wrong Rainbow?”

Dash tried to calm herself down enough to speak, but found it rather difficult. Finally though, she managed to tell Fluttershy that she had been out flying with her pet tortoise ‘Tank’ and that a strong gust of wind had blown him off course and he had crash landed in the Everfree forest.

She said she tried to go down and look for him, but the wind was so strong in that part of the forest that she couldn’t land there. So she had come to Fluttershy to see if she could help her track Tank down.

Without completely thinking, Fluttershy agreed to help her friend, and within 20 minutes found herself deep in the Everfree. She was looking everywhere she thought the tortoise could be hiding, but to no avail. She had also asked her animal friends to keep watch as well. Her and RD had split up when they arrived to cover more ground.

After an hour and a half of searching, she was about ready to give up. But one of her bird friends swooped down and hovered in front of her. The bird told her that Tank was stuck in a tree just a mile to the East of where she currently was. Fluttershy thanked the bird and began to run East through the forest. She stopped about a mile ahead and looked around.

At first she saw nothing but tall trees. It wasn’t until she looked more closely at the individual branches that she saw a propeller blade sticking out of a leaf covered branch about 10 ft up. She slowly rose off the ground and flew up to the branch to see the damage.

There was Tank, laying upside down in his flying contraption with a look of embarrassment sketched onto his face. Fluttershy let out a soft giggle as she moved in and untangled the tortoise’s flight suit allowing him to regain control of the machine and take off.

Fluttershy thought about following Tank, but she figured that RD would be much happier to just see Tank at the moment. She slowly returned to the ground and started walking back the way she had come.

A quick flash of blue made Fluttershy stop and back up. She looked with wonder at a large blue box that stood in front of her. Not knowing what to do, she began inspecting it as her alicorn friend Twilight Sparkle would.

She noted that the appearance of the box was slightly old and faded. She then inspected the writing on the top ‘POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX’ was displayed on the four signs that went around the top of the box. The windows were cracked and busted and the light on top (much to Fluttershy’s surprise) was still illuminated with a very dim yellow light. She had never seen an object like this in her life. She was wondering how it had gotten there and what it was.

Something reflected the sunlight into her face and got her attention. She looked down to find that the object in question was a perfectly polished silver key. She picked it up and turned it over in her hooves, then she looked at the box and realized the side facing her was a pair of doors. She then noticed the rusty lock on the right side door.

An idea hit her and she moved closer to the box and inserted the key into the lock. The key turned freely and she heard an audible “click”. The door moved inward slightly and she thought she could hear whispering from inside.

Fluttershy let out an “eeeep!” and jumped back. She stared at the box for a few moments before she decided to see what was inside. She cautiously moved to the set of doors again, pushed them inwards, and stepped inside.

She couldn’t really see anything, but she walked in a little deeper. She then realized something. “It's…. B..bigger….on.. t-the… in-inside!” she said surprised beyond belief.

“H-hello……. I-is anyp-p-pony in here?” she stuttered in her shy voice.

All of a sudden, the doors behind her slammed shut, scaring the daylights out of her. She started to get scared and was about to leave, or attempt to leave, when she saw a pulsing red light 12 ft in front of her.

She hesitantly stepped forward towards the pulsing light. Upon closer inspection it appeared to be a button. She pushed the button and nothing happened… at first. She watched as another light turned on, and another, then another. As she watched, more and more lights began to turn on.

She looked up and saw that lights in the ceiling were turning on. Then the walls started to glow a bright orange. Fluttershy just stood and watched in awe at what was happening around her. Afterwards, she looked at the machine in the center of the room where she had just been. It was a console with 6 sides and was covered with all sorts of levers, buttons, and a gramophone.

She then noticed that a light under one of the levers was flashing red like the first had. She gently pulled the lever down with her mouth and the light under it turned to a steady green. She began walking around the machine and noticed another flashing red light under a small blue button. She pushed it too and the light under it again turned green.

Fluttershy began to kind of enjoy this. Each time she pressed or pulled something, she felt like she had done something important, though she didn't know why.

Soon all the lights on the console were green. She looked up and noticed a box covered window hanging above one of the panels. She flew up to it and tried to look through it. She realized it was a monitor and there were words printed on the screen.

They read, “TARDIS SYSTEMS RESTORED.”

“What’s a TARDIS?,” she asked herself, and then noticed a list of numbers along the bottom of the screen.

She saw a keyboard resting on the panel below the screen. A small thought hit her and she started to type in the numbers and dashes that were on the screen. She pressed enter and she heard a loud “beep” and hid under the closest thing to her, which happened to be one of three seats built into the floor.

After a minute, she got up and went back to the panel she had vacated. She looked at the screen and only saw a series of circles moving around randomly. She walked around the console and noticed a large button with another red light under it, except it wasn’t flashing like before. Again she hesitated a moment, but then pressed the button causing the light to turn off.

“Here I go again.” she told herself, as she walked around the console pushing buttons and pulling levers.

Finally, she came to one final lever that had several green lights flashing under it. Fluttershy pulled the last lever and knew in her mind she made a mistake. The room started to shake and throw her around. She grabbed the railing that she hadn't even noticed was there, and held on tight.

She heard a noise. It was the most wonderful sound that she had ever heard. The sound faded and the room stopped shaking. She let go of the railing and stood up, gathering the nerves she still had left. She looked at the monitor and saw a beautiful sight. On the screen was a cascade of stars and what appeared to be a shallow lake suspended in mid air. She couldn’t take her eyes off the phenomena that was in front of her.

A sudden clicking sound from the doors startled her from her trance. She stared at the door and watched as it opened inwards to reveal a young gray stallion with a brown tattered and torn jacket and what was left of a red bowtie. The stallion in question stumbled inside and fell face down on the ground breathing heavily, as though he had been holding his breath for a while.

She noticed his mane and tail were black and his cutie mark was in the shape of an hourglass. She just sat there and watched the mysterious stallion, until he began to slowly stand up. He also had emerald green eyes and a slight quif to his hair. He looked at her with exasperation and wonder as he finally managed to stand upright.

“Oh… hello!” he said,“I’m the Doctor.”

“Doctor? Doctor who?” Fluttershy questioned.

A slow smile spread across the Doctor's face. “It's just the Doctor,” he said “but I think a better question is, whoareyou, howdidyougetinhere, andhowdidyouflytheTARDIS?” he asked around 90 miles an hour.

“I’m… Fluttershy…” she said as she hid behind her long pink bangs.

“Hello then Miss Fluttershy. That answers my first question, now just two more to go.” he said with a warm smile.

Fluttershy looked at her hooves and answered at her more normal quiet tone, “I found your box in the Everfree forest while I was helping find my friend’s tortoise. I also found a key on the ground and I used it on the lock.” she said, not daring to look up, “I pressed the buttons and levers that were blinking red.”

“I see.” the Doctor said.

He then walked up to the quivering pegasus. Fluttershy, expecting to be hit, coward into a small ball on the floor at the Doctor's hooves. She felt the stallion pick her up and hug her tightly.

“Thank you.” he said, “I've been stuck out there for a while. Somehow I got pulled out of the TARDIS when I went through the Medusa Cascade. I tried to gain enough momentum to get back though the TARDIS doors, but some other external force activated the TARDIS’s Hostile Action Displacement System and she took off, leaving me stranded here.

“The TARDIS did, however, leave an air shield around me so I could breath. But the air wouldn’t have lasted long. I would have died if you hadn’t brought the TARDIS back here.”

Fluttershy didn't know what to say at his words, but any attempt to say something now would have been impossible, as the Doctor gave her a kiss on the forehead. Her cheeks blushed madly, probably a darker shade of red than her friend’s brother Big Macintosh. The Doctor gave her one more quick hug, then trotted past her, and up to the console.

He started pressing buttons and flipping levers.

“So Fluttershy wher- No don't do that! Sorry, where are you from?” he asked, as he was checking to make sure none of his ship’s systems were damaged.

“Oh...ummmm I’m from Equestria, in a town called ponyvil- EEEP!” the mare squeaked out as the TARDIS took flight again.

The Doctor looked in Fluttershy’s direction as she had stopped speaking, but she wasn't there. He looked around for a minute, until he felt something soft and quivering under his legs.

He looked down to see Fluttershy hiding underneath of him with her legs covering her face and shaking like a leaf. The Doctor chuckled to himself, stepped to the side of the yellow pegasus, and put a hoof on her shoulder. Fluttershy winced, relaxed, and then slowly looked upwards at the Doctor with an embarrassed expression.

“Sorry,” she whispered “I'm a little bit jumpy sometimes.”

“You don't have to fear anything in here. This is the safest place I know.” the Doctor said while he comforted her.

She slowly stood back up, thanked him, and went to sit in one of the seats. The Doctor walked over to the console and resumed tinkering with the controls. After a few minutes the ‘Vworrrping’ noise was heard again as the TARDIS landed. The Doctor then walked over to the doors and opened one of them. He flashed a quick smile and then turned around to face Fluttershy.

“Come on out Fluttershy, your home.” he said to the shy mare.

Fluttershy moved over to the door and looked out of it. Her face lit up when she saw that they were in front of her cottage.

“How did you know where I lived?” she asked the stallion next to her.

“I looked you up in the TARDIS's data base,” he said.

“Oh. Well would you like to come inside for some tea?” she asked him kindly.

“Uh… sure,” replied the Doctor.

Fluttershy’s face lit up again and she stepped out of the TARDIS along with the Doctor. Behind her she heard him say “hang on” and she stopped and turned around.

“I just need to lock the TARDIS,” he said as he pulled out a key that matched the one she had found.

She watched as he pointed the key at the TARDIS and pressed down on it slightly. She heard a ‘Bleep Bleep’ sound followed by the TARDIS doors shutting and locking. The Doctor turned around with a grin on his face.

“Ayyyyy… I locked it... like a car!” he said enthusiastically.

Fluttershy looked at him confused. “I don't get it,” she said.

The Doctor then had a disappointed look on his face.

“Right, forgot that this universe doesn't have cars,” he said.

Before she could ask what a ‘car’ was, she was tackled by a cyan and rainbow blur. She looked up to see an excited Rainbow Dash standing over her.

“Fluttershy! Thank you sooooo much for helping me find Tank! I wanted to see if you would come to Sugar Cube Corner with me and the girls?” RD said with a smile.

She then looked over at the strange stallion standing next to them. “Who are you?” she asked in a slightly defensive tone.

“I'm the Doctor. Who are you?” he asked back.

“I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest pegasus in ponyville,” she said as she looked back at the mare in front of her. “Do you know him Shy?” she asked.

Fluttershy nodded her head up and down in reply. “Oh, well nice to meet you then.” RD said with a smug grin.

Her and the Doctor shook hooves and then she noticed the TARDIS a standing a few feet away.

“What in the name of Celestia is that thing?” she asked.

Before the Doctor or Fluttershy could attempt to answer her, she flew towards the TARDIS. She looked it up and down and flew around it. When she got to the front, she tried the doors, they were locked. The Doctor silently thanked himself for deciding to lock them too.

“The doors are locked.” RD said in a slightly annoyed tone.

She then tried to kick them open, but to no avail. The Doctor decided that he had had enough and told her that they didn’t know what it was and that they couldn’t move it.

“I'll be right back.” she said and sped off.

Five minutes later, there was a bright purple flash followed by a purple alicorn walking towards Fluttershy and the Doctor. This was Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, accompanied by Rainbow Dash. She looked at her friend, then at the Doctor.

“Hello sir, I'm Twilight Sparkle.” she said as she shook hooves with the Doctor.

“Nice to meet you Miss Sparkle, I'm the Doctor.” the Doctor said and noticed her face snicker a bit.

“You talk like my friend Rarity,” she said as she looked past him at the TARDIS.

She walked up to it and began examining it. She then tried the door as well, they were still locked. Her horn began to light up in a purple aura and so did the lock on the door. After a minute or two, she gave up.

“I cant open it!” she said a little annoyed, “That spell should be able to let me open any lock.”

The Doctor chuckled slightly behind her. Unfortunately for him, however, Twilight had heard him.

“If you think you can do better, then you try and open it.” the unicorn scoffed.

“OK.” he said as he walked closer to the door.

He looked back at the 3 mares with a humorous grin as he clicked his hooves together. The doors flew open immediately, revealing the depths of the TARDIS. Twilight and RD’s jaws dropped as they took in the scene before them. As they started moving toward it though, the Doctor tapped his hooves together again and the doors slammed shut, followed by a faint click.

“See easy,” he said.

He looked over at Fluttershy who gave him an amused smile.

“If you want some answers, then meet me and Fluttershy at um… where do you guys normally meet at?” he asked Fluttershy.

“The Castle,” she answered back.

“Alright, meet us at the Castle in a few hours.” he finished.

“Why not now?” Twilight asked the stallion.

“Because Fluttershy asked me to come inside for some tea and it would be impolite to turn down her offer.” he stated.

Fluttershy looked at him in surprise, blushed, and then allowed him to come into her cottage.

After an hour of talking, the two of them walked out the door and down the hill to the TARDIS. When they got closer, Fluttershy noticed that the TARDIS looked like new compared to when she saw it an hour ago. The Doctor pulled out his key and unlocked the door. He allowed Fluttershy in first and then shut the door behind them.

“Fluttershy, I need to ask you something.” the Doctor said confidently.

“What is it?” she replied.

“Do you want to… travel with me?” he asked her.

She smiled, but it slowly faded.

“I’d like to, but I have too many things to do around here.” she said with a slight sigh.

“Did I forget to mention that she’s also a time machine?” he added.

Fluttershy’s face lit up again. “Really?” she asked.

“Uh-huh.” the Doctor replied. “Only one of her kind in the universe. You must be special as well, the TARDIS doesn’t just open for anyone, key or not. She has to be able to trust them as much as she trusts me.”

He then turned around when he heard a whirring noise from the console. He smiled widely as he saw a familiar tool with a green emitter on the end.

“Oh brilliant a new sonic screwdriver.” he exclaimed as he ran up and grabbed it with his mouth.

He then stuffed it into his tattered suit pocket and whispered “thanks dear” to the console. He then turned to face Fluttershy again.

“So, to the meeting?”

“To the meeting.” she answered, and the Doctor pulled the demat lever.

The TARDIS emitted it's familiar noise and then it stopped.

“We’re here.” the Doctor exclaimed as he opened the doors.

Fluttershy followed and the two of them were standing in the empty Castle’s meeting room. A second later the door opened to reveal the rest of Fluttershy's friends. The Doctor was suddenly tackled by a large ball of pink. When his eyes came into focus, he realized the pink blur was actually a young earth pony, with a big puffy pink mane.

“Hellonewguy.ImPinkePie,butmostponiesjustcallmePinkie.Whatsyourname?Wheredidyoucomefrom?WHYHAVENTISEENYOUBEFORE!!!!” she yelled at an insane rate.

“Pinkie!” the others, besides Fluttershy, screamed.

“What?” she asked as though she hadn't done anything wrong.

“Fer Celestia’s sake Pinkie Pie will yuh let him up.” An orange Earth pony told her in a country accent.

Pinkie hopped up and pulled the Doctor to a standing position.

“Thank you.” he said to the country pony. “Hello everyone, I’m the Doctor!” he said as he looked at the three new mares in the room.

“Well howdy there Doc, mah name’s Applejack.” the orange farm pony said.

The Doctor had to bite his tongue to stifle back a laugh as he shook hooves with her.

“You’ve already met Pinkie Pie here.” she nodded to the pink mare next to her.

“Hello darling.” the white mare on the other side of AJ said.”I am Rarity. Oh… my goodness. What happened to your clothes?!?”

“Oh nothing serious, but I do believe I may need to replace them.” the Doctor said as he inspected his ripped clothing.

Twilight sighed, “Lets not worry about that right now. First things first, who are you and what is this thing?” she said indicating to the TARDIS.

“Alright fine.” replied a slightly irritated Doctor. “I’m a Time Lord.” he said, “I'm from the planet Gallifrey and the Constellation of Castaverous. I’m 1,245 years old and I've got two hearts.”

The room was quiet for a second and everyone in the room looked as though they had been slapped. Then the room was filled with laughter from everyone except the Doctor and Fluttershy.

“1,000 years old huh?” mocked Rainbow,” Yeah right!”

“Actually I am, you see-”

“OH OH!!! You're from an alternate universe with human beings like Twilight saw when she went through the portal, but less colorful and you're box is also a time machine that you use to travel throughout time and space!!!” Pinkie finished was an audible ‘squee!’

The Doctor's jaw hit the floor.

“Just a hunch.” Pinkie said nonchalantly.

The Doctor looked at the other four, who rolled their eyes.

“-I’m also an alien…” he finished.

The mares looked at each other and then at Twilight. “Go ahead, listen to my hearts.” the Doctor said as Twilight pulled out a stethoscope.

She put it to the stallion’s chest and gasped.

“He’s not lying,” she told her friends.

They each took turns (apart from Pinkie and Fluttershy) each hearing the sound of a drum beat.

“And the box?” Twilight asked.

“Oh yes, of course.” the Doctor said as he took out his key and stuck it into the lock.

He gave a push, but the door wouldn’t open.

“It's OK old girl, you can trust them too.” he said lovingly to the TARDIS.

After a few moments, the doors opened inwards and the Doctor allowed Fluttershy in first. He then walked in after her. The third to step through the door was Twilight, followed by AJ, Pinkie, Rarity, and RD. They all stopped and looked around the room that they were now inside of.

“Welcome to the TARDIS!” the Doctor said with a grin.

“This.. is….. impossible!” the purple alicorn stated as she walked deeper into the ship.

“For your species maybe, but not for Time Lords,” he said at her statement.

“How is this possible?” Twilight asked.

Before the Doctor could answer her, Pinkie popped up behind her.

“Duh silly filly, it's probably a pocket dimension shoved into a small space.”

“How do you keep doing that?” the Doctor asked the pink mare.

“Let's not get into that now.” Twilight suggested.

“OK… never mind then. So you wanted proof that this is a time machine ey?” he asked, more to Rainbow than the others.

“Uhh… Yeah!” said Rainbow Dash.

“All right then.” the Doctor said as he began entering space-time coordinates. “I know just the time and place.”

He pulled a few levers and then looked over to Fluttershy.

“Care to pull the Demat lever?” he asked her, motioning to the lever next to him.

Fluttershy began to blush as she walked over to the large lever, clamped it with her teeth and quickly pulled down. The center column began to move up and down and the familiar ‘Vworrping’ noise was heard. The room shook and then stopped.

“Take a look outside.” the Doctor motioned for RD to open the doors behind her.

She obliged and looked at their new surroundings. They were sitting on a cloud near Cloudsdale and she could see a group of fillies and colts near a set of bleachers focused on something happening below them.

“We moved, so what?” she asked.

She then heard a loud boom and saw a large rainbow colored explosion just a few yards in front of them.

“That's a Sonic Rainboom, but I'm the only pony in Equestria who can do that!” she exclaimed.

She then saw the source of the Rainboom. It was a Pegasus filly, with a cyan coat and a rainbow colored mane.

“That's me!” RD cried out.

“Yep, you said you wanted proof. So I decided to show you yourself performing a Sonic Rainboom. The first one you'd ever done, as a matter of fact. The one phenomena that got all of you your cutie marks and brought together the Elements of Harmony.” the Doctor finished.

The others didn't know what to say. Finally, the Doctor walked back to the console, set the controls, and the TARDIS took off again.

“Hey Spike, have you seen Twilight anywhere?” asked a light purple unicorn with a dark blue and purple mane.

“Nope, I haven't seen her all day.” replied a purple baby dragon with green scales. “Which, I will admit, is pretty unusual… even for Twilight.” he added.

The two of them walked into the meeting room and took a seat.

“I know that Twilight wants me to be her pupil and the reunion with Sunburst went well, but I still dont know what she sees in me.” she told the dragon.

“I know it can be tough at first. Believe me, I had to take care of Twilight more than she took care of me, but I'm telling you friend-to-friend that she sees a lot of potential in you. I know I definitely do. You'll be fine.” Spike assured her.

“Thanks Spike.” she said as she nuzzled the side of his head. Her ears suddenly perked up. “Do you hear that?” she asked the dragon as the noise grew louder.

“Yeah, where's it coming from?” he asked back.

Suddenly, a large blue box began to appear out of thin air. As they watched, it became less transparent and with a thud it became solid. Before they could react the doors opened and the mane 6 walked out. Spike stood transfixed on the box, while Starlight looked between all her new friends. A stallion she had never seen before also exited the box.

“Satisfied Rainbow?” the Doctor asked the cyan pegasus flying above him.

“Yeah, totally. That was about 20% cooler than I thought it would be. I mean getting to see myself do my first Sonic Rainboom! How awesome is that?” she said while she performed barrel rolls.

“Twilight?” asked Spike in a nervous tone.

“Oh Spike, there you are. You just missed out on a fantastic experience!” the alicorn stated.

“Well you five I’d love to stay and chat, but I'm afraid I must get going. I need to get some new clothes.” the Doctor stated.

Rarity’s head suddenly jerked up.

“Oh! You simply MUST come to my boutique. I can surely provide you with something that will suit your standards. I will not take NO for an answer!” Rarity added as the Doctor was about to protest.

“Alright then. Fluttershy would you mind accompanying me on this trip?” the Doctor asked the yellow mare.

“Ummmm… sure. I guess so.”

“Alright, come on then.” the Doctor said as the two mares stepped back into the TARDIS.
“We’ll be back in around… meh 2 minutes or less.” he told the others as he followed the two mares inside.

The doors shut and 15 seconds later the TARDIS began to dematerialize into thin air once more.

“You’ve got some explaining to do.” Spike said as he looked around at the giggling mares.

“There we go, we're here.” the Doctor said as the TARDIS materialized inside of Carousel Boutique.

The three then walked out the doors and into the Boutique.

“I don't think I'll be able to get used to that.” Rarity stated dramatically as she walked over to her sewing table. “Now, what did you have in mind darling?”

“I’d like a few jackets like this one, but in a slightly different color please.” he answered her.

“Hmmmm…. slightly different color… color color color…” Rarity said to herself.

She pondered for a few minutes while pacing back and forth across the floor. Suddenly, her head jerked up.

“Oh, I've got the perfect colors! You'll love them!” she added as she bounded through a door at the back of the boutique.

A few seconds later, she came back levitating a few colors of fabric behind her. “Well which color do you like?” Rarity asked the stallion.

The Doctor didn’t see anything that stood out to him. Until he spotted the purple fabric at the end.

“How about this one?” he asked the fashionista.

“Excellent choice. Now,” Rarity got serious, “what kind of clothing would you like me to make?”

The Doctor walked over to her and whispered something to her. Rarity used her magic and pulled off the Doctor's old jacket and bowtie. She then went to her sewing table and began to take measurements.
Now the Doctor had a moment to talk with Fluttershy. He wanted her to say she would travel with him, but would understand if she wanted to stay.

He approached the bench the canary yellow mare was sitting on and looked over at her. She was staring at the floor apparently deep in thought.

“Fluttershy, are you alright?” he asked her.

She looked over at the stallion who had spoken and locked her large blue eyes with the Doctor's emerald ones.
“Sorry, I was just thinking about what you asked me earlier in the TARDIS and I think I'd be OK if I went with you.” she stated.

“Are you sure?” the Doctor asked trying to contain his excitement.

“Yes, I think so.” she then quickly added, “I mean if you don't mind, that is….”

“I'd love it if you came.” the Doctor told her.

Fluttershy then remembered the key she picked up. She tried to give it back, but was stopped when the Doctor assured her that she would need it if she was gonna travel with him.
The two of them talked a while longer until Rarity came back again, sporting a pair of designers glasses and carrying the Doctor's old jacket on her back. Levitating behind her was a new purple jacket and white undershirt.

“Wow! This looks fantastic!” the Doctor exclaimed as he slipped on his new threads.

“Oh, I'm glad you like it.” Rarity said. The Doctor glanced at himself in a nearby mirror and raised an eyebrow.

“Well that's rubbish, who's that then?” he asked the two mares.

“That's you darling… you don't know what you look like?” The white unicorn asked.

“Been a busy day.” the Doctor replied curly. He then noticed something missing. “Where's my bowtie?” he asked Rarity.

She levitated a bowtie over to him and tied it on for him.

“Much better.” the Doctor said to no one in particular.

As he stood up and removed the contents of his old jacket into his new one, he heard a faint groan from inside the TARDIS. Rarity and Fluttershy heard it too and they began to slowly move towards the box. When they got to the doors, they were blinded by a bright flash that occurred from inside.

The TARDIS stopped groaning and both the Doctor and Fluttershy took out their keys. They were both glowing and both emitted a loud groan like the TARDIS had done. The Doctor smiled and unlocked the door.

“Oh!!! She's redecorated, oh you sexy thing!” the Doctor hollered, as he walked inside.

Both mares exchanged odd looks at each other before walking in after the stallion.
