Octavia Philharmonica was a gifted cellist, a foal prodigy who played even for Celestia herself. Then, one day all of her concerts were cancelled and she never played again, blending into the crowds of other students at her school. The media continued to follow her, but three years ago she disappeared from the face of Equestria. Suddenly, a former psychologist calls a meeting of his peers and the media who was so obsessed with her story. She has been a patient of his and now, the two of them, along with Octavia's partner Vinyl, they will reveal to the world the shocking events which took her music, and nearly her very soul from them all.

This is a very interesting story so far. I like.
The concert hall parts seem to be taking up most of the story but I'm assuming that it's just the easiest way to describe all the backstory. The pony in disguise really has me intrigued though. Can't wait for more.

Small thing:
In your first time transition it was 18 months ago. In the second it was 15. But in the third it went back to 18 months. Just something I thought should be pointed out.

First off, thanks for reading my story and thanks for the comment.
It means quite a bit to know that I did okay with writing this story. I'm not sure if you've seen, but I'm working on a sequel story to this right now, Brave New World. I should (hopefully) be making everything a bit less confusing and be developing the characters a bit more, if you want to check that out.
Secondly, I have considered having someone proofread my stories, and I definitely think it'd be a good idea. I just haven't really had the time to find out where I'd go to find someone to proofread. If you know of anyone or somewhere I could find someone that would be awesome!

Good, only read the first chapter, but I enjoyed it.
Only 1 small criticism. You said British accent, which is a wide variety of accents. Being from England, I took it upon myself to read this characters voice in a Scottish accent. It may have broken the tension, but it was well worth it to prove a point to myself.
Enjoyed it nonetheless.
