Is Battle Spirit: Burning Soul related in any way to Vanguard?
7727567 to be honest, no they don't. Both games have their own different play styles and Battle Spirit the card game has magic and monsters unlike Cardfight Vanguard which only has monsters you can play. My character Maou is only playing monsters to build a strong force like you would do if you would need men on the battlefields or troops to defend walls and patrol towns.
