Well... the problem with this is it's one of my first MLP ideas, and it shows. It was thought up during season one, well before the reveal of Cadance (though she didn't invalidate the story) and much more before Magical Mystery Cure showed it was possible for a pony to become an alicorn.
On top of that, the original idea behind the story has been done to death; while I would enjoy the idea of deconstructing the whole 'alicorn OC' thing still (and potentially RE-constructing it), I would need something to make telling such a story interesting to potential readers, as opposed to something they just click the downvote button on.
