Snowflake Symphony

Ditzy, forgetful, clumsy teenage girl who enjoys writing, reading, and art. Horrible at singing, but loves to dance.

E

The Dazzlings have always been together, singing and working together for their gain. But what happens when their talent is taken from them? Oneshot; post-RR.

I've never really understood the depictions in which they blame each other even a little bit, because things went perfectly as far as their plan goes. Sonata and Aria followed Adagio's orders every step of the way, she led them straight to their moment of triumph until the heroes got bailed out by a short cluster of Deus Ex Machinas. (Spike somehow finding and communicating with the effectively-deaf girl to follow him somewhere in the middle of the night, her happening to own a transforming car that did exactly what they needed it to, and the addition of one singer being enough to push their attack straight to the usual level. Did I miss any?)

That in mind, where, at any point, did the Dazzlings even make a mistake? I haven't re-watched the movie in quite a while, but as I recall, they were winning until the plot demanded they not do that anymore, so saying things like "Your plan sucked" or "If you two had just listened to me" to each other doesn't even make any sense. :applejackunsure:

6751816 Thank you so much for your feedback! You make an excellent point. Now that I think about it, they executed their plan perfectly, and it was just the Rainbooms' superior magic that defeated them in the end. I think where I was going with my story here was that they were just looking for someone to blame, but you are right. Thank you very much. I will be sure to do my research before I write my future stories.

So sad and heartbreaking... :fluttercry:

Great story! I really liked how you captured Adagio's emotions in words, keep it up!

Short but sweet. A beautiful story, and a excellent reminder that sometimes quality really does trump quantity.
