1. We need some backstory here.
1 & 2, background and explanations needed
Dividing my vote between 1 and 5.
Like 6745416 said, some backstory would be nice, but you know, we can't stay there forever.
I think 3 or 4 would be good.
I vote 4. Because no one else is. I love the Japanese/Chinese way of saying "no". Adopted it into my own speach patterns years ago. How do you write so many words, man? Considering you're also writing a series of game books professionally at the same time, especially. It boggles my mind. Really, it is one of the great mysteries of the world,
you know, basic functions like eating and bathroom usage are generally skipped as "uninteresting".
I guess that isn't necessary in a story about rapid social acclimation. It's nice, because food is so important in real life, and the story reflects that.
a good chapter that leads me to vote #2
6745753 Food is important, especially when you're not in your native environment. What do ponies eat? That's boring to a pony, but something new and interesting to a visiting human. Likewise, a people robbed of their ability to cook are going to be quite delighted when it is returned to them. It's cultural, and important.
1&2
on their back - on their backs
their mouth - their mouths
to everyone - so everyone

Hmmm… option 5 reminds me that the clock is ticking so that is my vote; they had better do something about that. I assume that Pinkie still has the radio, but they can’t exactly use it when everything they do is under surveillance.
Option 1: I presume that these are the family members of loved ones of guards or of important officials of some sort. Still it would be good to know who they are and where they came from, as well as what skills they may have to help themselves or others.
Option 2 and 3 aren’t anything that Pinkie or Aiko have control over. They can ask for an audience, but who is to say if they will be taken seriously and granted one.
Option 4 is seems something Pinkie will likely do no matter what, barring some crisis that takes precedence over making everyone smile.
Given how well Pinkie can communicate with nearly anyone and find a way to make them smile, I’m surprised that her cutie mark does not reflect that aspect of her talent as well. Also, kudos to you for including some of the cultural differences between eastern and western cultures. Understanding a language is a huge help, but there is more to communication than language.
6746112 - Yes. Food, the need to eat, is something that everyone alive has in common. Therefore it can be one of the best ways to begin communicating with people that don't know or understand anything else.
1 and 5 seem like they could go together quite nicely
1, 2, or 5 are my votes
I vote 5.
one
Voting 1
1 and 4 again. I don't know who the 'Kirin lady' is, 2 seems too early and 5 is too ominous.
6747125 The one that interviewed them, just last chapter?

The Chinese dragon? How is that a Kirin?
Wow, a food party is just as good :)
