Damn, one heck of a story here. A long fun story. I liked the back and forth between Dash and Soarin. Soarin's story about the accident seemed a bit out of place, and maybe a tad irrelevant due to how brief it was in the story.

Oh yeah, sure.
But when I started writing this... what, 4-5 months ago now, I had originally planned on writing a few more chapters which would make it tie in and a bit more relevant. I'm still entertaining the idea of writing more but with my streak and incredible attention deficit, it's a pretty forgone conclusion, really.
A new Soarindash story from Killbles? And it's only two years late?
Seriously though, this was great. A couple of grammar issues here and there but nothing too major, and the characterisations were bang on with excellent dialogue between the pair. It's a shame this will most likely stay as a oneshot, though, since this thing is practically begging for all those threads to be explored further down the line.
The race track was a bit whack, though. If the smallest one is several kilometres long and 500m high at its tallest (far, far larger than the colosseum for sure) then just how large is the biggest one?
This seriously needs more attention!
There were a couple hiccups in the grammar (small typos, like 'the' and 'they', stuff like that) but overall it was a masterpiece. Not because of a thrilling story or hair raising thrills, but because you captured my exact interpretation of this couple. Because of this, I'm gonna start reading more SoarinDash.
I don't know how, but you just en-captured Soarin's character perfectly. Soarin's behaviour throughout the story was absolutely ON POINT! I just can't express how much I love this.
People say that the SoarinDash romance is often 'too easy', but I find it very heartwarming and pleasant. Too cute. Take all the D'aaawwwws.
Rainbow Dash was very likable, I've always thought that her relationship with Soarin would bring out a more 'girly' side. Frankly, it adds depth to her character; rather than stallions liking her for her tomboyish attitude, they may like her for being true to herself. She's as much a girl as any mare.
Also, love the peanuts, great way to slither in some comedy...or should I say, Slytherin...hehe...punny.
Last note: Rainbow Dash wore her hair in a ponytail. 10/10. Always thought she'd look really cute with a ponytail.
Have a like, a fave and a well-earned mustache for your troubles.

I must say that so far it's my favorite SoarinDash story.
I was reading it yesterday and I had a silly grin plastered on my face from the first word to the last.
I'm not really good at commenting but your story really had me hooked. Hard.
The way you depict Soarin is just full of win. He's a bit goofy (not sure if it's the right word) but not to the point of beeing stupid. I loved his playful and teasing nature. The fact that he's also up for a friendly competition and challenge with RD. Argh.
There is so much things I want to say and I don't know how to formulate it so I will say that it was an incredible story and moment.
I hope you will write more in the future if you ever want and have time. You make me renew with my love for this ship with this story and make me want to draw more of them <3 Thank you.

Truth be told, I'm not usually a fan of Soarin Dash, but you write them extremely well. I love the characterization, and the realistic progression you depicted in their budding relationship. Fantastic work, not only in this fic, but all your stories of this pairing!! Hopefully there's still more story here to tell.
