The moment Twilight reached the top of the tower where Cadance and Shining Armor waited (which didn't take very long, since she was able to simply teleport there), Cadance's magic faltered and failed, letting Sombra's dark shadow enter the gleaming city.
"The Empire is under attack!" Shining Armor yelled.
"I know, I know." Twilight looked down at Cadance. "How is she?"
"Not good." The pained look on his face was pitiful.
Twilight restored her sister in law to perfect health with a simple zap of magic. Unfortunately, Sombra was already inside the dome, making it useless.
"We have to find the Crystal Heart," Cadance said, looking out over the city, at the devastation Sombra was wreaking below. "Only that has the magic that will keep him at bay."
Twilight nodded. First, a simple combination of a locator spell and a teleport spell. A flash, and she was right there next to the heart. Sombra's long-laid trap fired and teleported her right back out again, but now she knew where it was. All she would have to do was overpower it.
She blasted the castle with a small portion of her magical energy, burning a hole straight through from the balcony below to the secret chamber holding the heart. As it slid down the smoking new tunnel right into Cadance's hooves, Twilight allowed herself a small grin. "Okay. You get the Crystal Heart installed. I have a thousand year old king to disintegrate."
Twilight looked out over the rim of the balcony and easily spotted Sombra's location. Teleporting in front of him was a cinch. Blasting him out of existence was even easier; all she needed to do was focus a portion of her power on him.
As he dissolved into quickly dissipating smoke, Twilight grinned. The hard part had been making sure she didn't use too much power and cause collateral damage.
I'm honestly curious what would have happened had she encountered that fear-inducing door. What could this Twilight's fears possibly be? Being bored from being too OP? Is she like One-Punch Man?
One blast at King Sombra and there, problem solved.
Well there goes a badass villain.
And it.
Is.
Hilarioooouuus!
Ok, so I am curious as to if EQG will be its own thing, or its going to be part of the story.
Then again...
"I have the crown!"
"No you don't!" BAM!!
Chapter two: S03E02 The Crystal Empire Part 2:
This should be hyphenated.
And with that, the Equestrian Games Episode is made pointless.
~KBO.
I thought Sombra was only able to be defeated by alicorns or the heart.
6335933 Or Shining Armor, or Spike, or bright lights. Altogether, not a very impressive villain. This episode didn't really need a Friendship-is-Overpowered version, since that's basically what already happened
their still seem to be people trying to make this make sence with the canon, it won't i see it as, a joke with/at the fanon,it like how the eps would go if the main six were as OP as some write them to be
That's what you get Sombra! Perfect Job, Ocalhan!
This is the first chapter that makes me frown, This was Spike one time to save the day
My Little Pony:
FriendshipTwilight is OverpoweredMy little sombra, evil is overpowered. Sombra easily defeats all of his foes with the overpowered energy of dark magic which he has spent neigh on ten centuries honing, studying, and making more powerful.
Boom headshot? Get REKT? Beam him out, Scotty?
