Hm...it seems to me that Bonnie was tied up at first, but never released. But she could still move and hug Lyra etc... Just a small goof in an otherwise good story.
Hm, reminds me of a movie called The Green Butchers, where two butchers accidentally kill a guy, and end up selling him as their "special chicken dish". As they run out (the whole village just LOVE it), they of course have to get new supplies. A bit more morbid, I guess (although it was made in a way so you'd laugh rather than be horrified).
Wish the story had been longer. Also, I wonder what would happen if or when ponies found out the truth...
