After discovering that her two roommates and friends love her and want her, Colgate decided to reply to M.A. Larson's email. She hit the reply button and started,
"M.A. Larson
It is me, Colgate again. Forget about putting me with Twilight, Moondancer and Tia. Since you claim to have access to Celestia's alleged listening devices, you probably know that Twinkleshine, Lemon Hearts and I are an item now. If you ever are able to write a mature version of MLP about us, just have it be us three instead. Regarding regular episodes, could you please have the three of us be inseparable the way you have Lyra and Bon Bon?"

It wasn't long until Colgate received a reply from Larson. His reply said,
"Alright Colgate, will do. I'll see if I can't get the executives at Hasbro to make a set of you three since you are such good friends in the Amending Fences episode."

The three looked at the screen in glee as they read the reply. Colgate said, "Well girls, wanna have some fun?"
Both of them enthusiastically replied, "You bet we do hot stuff!"

6200588 My version of Colgate goes off of the version I had of Colgate in my Colgate's Practice trilogy where she does have a not so pleasant personality. I see where you are coming from regarding Twi knowing why she wasn't friends with her anymore but this was Colgate's reaction to how she was portrayed in an episode. That is no indication which suggests that she would behave like that in a normal situation. Personally I loved the episode, I simply thought that having Colgate become extremely angry over her portrayal in the episode would be funny.

Hot stuff indeed. This story is what you call hot stuff. Minuette’s excitement from seeing Twilight was like one of the cutest things I’ve seen in life. The third chapter was just amazing in every way. This story is top notch. Amending Fences is such a great episode and I’m glad to see an MLP reaction by amazing MLP characters.

I'm glad you liked the story. Amending Fences is one of my all time favorite episodes. Yes a lot of people thought I didn't like it because I wrote this but I simply wanted to throw a spin from my version of Colgate into this, the Colgate that has an abrasive personality and is easy to piss off.
So correct me if I'm wrong. But wasn't Colgate the fandom's name for Minuette? Hasbro taking a major dump on it by not pandering to fans' ideas was one of the better things to come from Season 5.

Ok, when it comes to Minuette/Colgate, I tend to use different names depending on the role she will be playing. If she is either the bloodthirsty dentist or a warrior in the "Terror in Equestria" series, I use Colgate. In a lot of other stories, I use the name Minuette.
Regarding Starlight becoming Twilight's student, I'm fine with it because it gave us four more seasons of her. I just wish they hadn't changed her mane style in season six.....well that and made Sunburst a mare.
