Rarity doesn't understand what she did to deserve this. Yes, she has messed up before. Everypony has. And no, she isn't perfect. Nopony is, after all. Even so, she hasn't done anything to deserve something as horrible as this. "Why must you all torture me so? I haven't told my friends about you, just as I promised! I promise I'll do whatever you want! Just..just leave me be! Please!"

Great story! Nice to see someone being good to poor dear Rarity.
Very well written and certainly captures the horror of the original story.
However, I feel that the ending was a cheat in the same vein as "All Just A Dream."
6275175 Thanks for the review. I'm glad that you liked it, as one of the original goals was to recapture the helplessness that Rarity was feeling.
As for the ending...I was trying to figure out how to end it for a long time. My original draft was originally going to have the Mane 6 fight against the eyes, but then I remembered that in the story, there wasn't really a way to defeat/destroy the eyes. After thinking it over and over, I came up with the idea that it could have been a story that Rarity wrote, as I thought it would be pretty funny if Rarity wrote horror stories in her spare time.
Either way, I wasn't trying to cheat you out on the ending

Poor Rarity gets the hate bucket a lot, so I had to do something about it.
6275612 Whenever someone says to me that a villain is undefeatable, I always take it with a grain of salt. The Eyes are not invincible, Rarity just THINKS that they are. Like any bully, the eyes try to make their victim feel more helpless than she actually is. What the eyes don't realise however, is that while they may have complete control over RARITY, they do NOT hold full power over the Mane Six. All of whom know that Rarity would never act like this, and realise something is up. Biding their time to catch the eyes by surprise.
The eyes of course don't realise this. Why, because in their mind Rarity IS in character. She's a loathsome, vain, shallow waste of space who deserves to suffer and the other Mane Five MUST be smart enough to know this. (The eyes are a clear allegory for those who Ron The Death Eater Rarity.)
6276313 That's true, and I do agree with your point. If I do a follow-up chapter to this (where the whole thing was real, and not something that Rarity thought of), the rest of the Mane 6 would probably figure out what's going on and band together to defeat them, probably by giving them a taste of their own medicine, perhaps.
